There are definitely some really good deals but as well I had seen some items that were more expensive than what I paid for the same item new at a retail store.

2nd most expensive VV in Winnipeg, but closing ranks quickly. Prices have escalated exponentially over the past 2 years, lots of dollar store tat at inflated prices. And for the higher prices, you can enjoy checking yourself out- if you would like to risk buying clothes that you can't try on/return if they don't fit. Feels like they should drop the value" from their name."

I like this store, here you can find some stuff from the last century, sometimes they have an old smell - yes this is not the best smell… but for someone it will remind childhood, youth - and it's worth a lot. in addition, this store also has modern things.

to the little white boy with the black framed prescription glasses and that dummy green vest.. WORK YOUR WAGE !!! youre out here criminalizing poverty at a job that doesnt even pay you a livable wage. AND TO THAT FILIPINO GIRL WITH THE TIGHT PONYTAIL... y’all are both protecting a big corporation that gets their inventory for free and marks up the price 10x more FOR PROFIT!!! keyword is profit. oh also.. news flash!!! VALUE VILLAGE WOULD LEAVE YOU STRANDED THE SECOND YOU INCONVENIENCE THEM. lets see you break a leg outside of work.. value village would NOT CARE ONE BIT. value village used to be a thrift store that serves and looks out for lower income families/people but they are clearly motivated by money and profit. IF YOU WANT PEOPLE TO STOP STEALING LOWER YOUR PRICES.

Place is over expensive. Video games cost more then online with shipping and tax. Greedy. Also I tried to bring my bike in (as I had no lock) then was told I couldn’t, so I was leaving by going through the exit… and the security guard and the butch lady tried to take my bike from me and stop me. Which I couldn’t of left on her right side as there was no space. Negatively handled.

Considering they get their product for free they have jacked their prices way to High to be reasonable. What's the point of a 2nd hand for profit store. If their prices are within 10% of the original price. Superthirft next door is at least an actual nonprofit. With better pricing.

Prices of their items is too much being a thrift store. I prefer buying at salvation army or other local thrift stores which are still in a good to perfect condition at a reasonable price.

Value Village is a thrift store that offers a wide range of second-hand clothing, home decor, and other items. The store is well-organized and easy to navigate, and the prices are generally reasonable. One thing I appreciate about Value Village is their commitment to sustainability and reducing waste. By purchasing second-hand items, customers can help to reduce their environmental footprint and support a more sustainable economy. However, there are a few downsides to the store. While the prices are generally reasonable, they can sometimes be higher than what you might expect for second-hand items. Additionally, some of the items can be quite worn or damaged, which can make it difficult to find high-quality items.Another issue is that the store can get quite crowded and disorganized, especially during peak hours. This can make it difficult to find what you're looking for and can make the shopping experience feel overwhelming.Overall, Value Village is a decent thrift store that offers a range of second-hand items at reasonable prices. Just be prepared for potentially crowded and disorganized conditions, and be prepared to do some digging to find high-quality items.

My wife and I checked out Value Village last week and while we definitely found some cool stuff there, we have to admit that relatively, everything was a bit on the expensive side.If you're looking for something specific or love browsing through a items, check out Value Village but be prepared to potentially spend a bit more than you would at other thrift stores.
