We did a couples session in spring 2022 and would highly recommend Sandra! Sandra not only takes beautiful photos but helps you feel comfortable while she’s doing it, and she was a joy to spend an afternoon with!

Sandra/Double Coast is the real deal - she is such a talented photographer, an artist, and a friend. Do not hesitate to book her for your photography needs! My fiancé and I were really committed to finding a photographer who was right for us. We were looking for a photographer with a natural and timeless style who we could be ourselves around and prioritizes photographing candid moments, rather than capturing those often awkwardly posed wedding or engagement shots (you know, those wedding photos that look like prom pics with lines of bridesmaids and groomsmen holding props or being forced into silly faces/poses, etc). Sandra is the perfect combination of professional photographer and a friend – she takes herself and her work seriously, while still being real and treating her clients like they are her friends that she cares about in the most genuine way possible. And her photography style is also beautiful. In the lead up to our engagement shoot, Sandra provided tips on clothes and colors to wear and helped us time our shoot so we would have the best light possible. Our engagement shoot with Sandra was perfect - my fiancé and I felt like we were on a date by ourselves. We never felt like we were being unnatural, posing, or being followed by a photographer. Our engagement shoot felt like we were on a great date. Sandra doesn’t overly direct or guide you during the shoot. She just captures you as you are with some gentle guidance when needed. She cares about the important details and factors in your story and interactions as a couple. She has a skilled eye for capturing big and small moments; she sees and documents intimate details and nuances in personalities, movements, landscapes, and light. We are so thrilled with how the photos turned out, and we’re so excited for Sandra to shoot our wedding this spring! Sandra is one of the most genuine and real people that I have been able to work with. She is super communicative, easy going, and incredibly talented. Oh my goodness I don't even know where to start. Sandra took our wedding photos and we are absolutely in love with them. Not only are we super pleased with the photos, but the entire process of communicating, planning, and the actual photography was a breeze. Sandra made our engagement and wedding feel more special than I ever could have imagined. After attending many weddings over the years that felt mainstream and impersonal and seeing photos that felt forced and drenched in filters, I was nervous about those aspects of our wedding because that's what I thought a wedding had to look like. However, after meeting Sandra and seeing her work, I realized that we could be ourselves and our wedding + our photos could be reflective of who we are. Sandra was so kind and easy-going and supported us the whole way with helping to plan our wedding timeline, engagement shoot outfits, etc. During our engagement shoot and wedding, she guided us when it made sense, but mostly just let us be ourselves. I had never been the focus of a photoshoot, but our engagement shoots at Rosario Beach and first look shoots at Discovery Park were some of the happiest moments of my life. It really felt like we had the world to ourselves. It’s so cool that Sandra was quietly and skilfully documenting such a special time for us. Sandra’s photography is so beautiful and captures colors and moments in their truest form. We wanted to show our real selves, nothing more and nothing less, and she did that. Thank you Sandra! Working with Double Coast was fun and easy. My fiance wasn't stoked about having professional photos taken and thought things would be awkward and posed. Not with Sandra! She was relaxed and really good about catching the in-between" moments where our personalities were revealed. She's also so prompt with sending a batch of preview photos that are gorgeous. Her style is intimate and timeless and we will definitely treasure her work forever."
