My experience at WorkForce was awful. Berry, the guy working the desk would let me know that if I came in he would indeed have work for me. I advise Berry it takes me an hour to get to his location. He said that's fine, I will have work for you. An hour later I get to Berrys office ready to work. He turns me away. He has done this to me three times, I cant count how many times hes done this to my boyfriend if you are looking for work, this is NOT the place. Berry is rude to the people that call, that come in to the office. If you want to be treated like a person this is NOT the place, if you want work or respect this is NOT the place. If you want your time wasted and lied to then this is the place.

Staff not wearing wearing masks or making people coming into office wear them. Very slow staff. Was even asked by the person in charge what an operator was cause a client phoned asking for one. Will not issue cheques in morning even if client keeps you working late into

This place is some kind of joke. Luckily I am not in the same position as others where I need work desperately. I applied to a crane operator position on indeed, without knowing it was through a temp agency. The first phone call I got from Chris was while she was driving and was very short. I scheduled an appointment for 11am the next day. At 10am the next day she called and pushed it to 1pm. I had a number of questions for her, wage, hours and location. She told me the wage but did not have the other information.When I arrived I waited awhile and was then taken back to her office where I waited some more. During our conversation she told me the wage was actually lower then what I was told over the phone. She STILL was unable to tell me the hours of work. I explained that I am taking night courses and work a second job so this was crucial. She assumed that I just wanted the job regardless of wage or hours.I was told I would have to come to their office every morning to do an orientation/safety meeting at 6am for an undisclosed amount of days. When I asked if I would get paid for my time I was told No. Which is not legal or ethical, if I have to come to your office at 6 to COMPLETE THINGS for WORK, then drive to a job site I should be paid. I’m guessing they do not want to pay this as the client isn’t footing the bill. I was also told I would have to come back to the office everyday to get paid or Friday and collect 5 cheque’s.I called back to tell them I would not be taking the job and that it was wrong for them to tell the client they had a guy to start the next day without me taking it first.I received a call the next day asking why I didn’t show up.... after saying I wasn’t taking the job....I understand the need for these places for unskilled labourers or guys down on their luck, or even addicts who need money. But it’s an absolute disgrace to try and fill operator jobs, skilled positions in this type of fashion. Alberta isn’t hurting that bad anymore, there are tons of jobs out there. Go somewhere else.

Candace will constantly tell you she will get back to you by the end of the day and have you waiting for days possibly even a week for a call back,she doesn't understand other people need work, when I call back to check on what is happing with my work she seemed very frustrated that I was calling..

Employers Beware!My partner and I recently hired the services of WORKFORCE Temporary Services Ltd., for a small job that comprised of patching imperfections on newly-installed and primed dry-wall. The account manager arrived quickly onsite to have the paperwork and credit card information signed. He assured us that the person we would be getting for the job was a general labourer and the cost was $24.95 per hour. We were not given any receipts or copy of the contract, and thought nothing of it at the time. The worker arrived and worked a total of 18 hours in 3 consecutive days. We were charged $36.95/hour for this service, along with supplies. My partner called the WORKFORCE Temporary Services Ltd., SW Calgary office for clarification on what was clearly an error. He was told that the person who worked on our site was a skilled dry-waller. My partner asked to speak to the manager but his call was never returned. He called again and gave them ample time to make things right but nothing was ever done. We will never again hire WORKFORCE Temporary Services Ltd. The worker was slow and not thorough with the task.

Berry the manger/owner is irresponsible, rude, incompetent and disrespectful. He called me @6am saying they needed a lot more workers to fill an order so I brought myself and one other worker with the understanding that I’d be placed for work.I got there at the exact time I said I would and upon arriving I found out he had giving the work to the next 2 people who had walked in. All he had to say for calling me in and giving the work he had for me and one other was tough luck.Travelled from far NE to the office in the sw for nothing. This place is a jokeI would not recommend workforce for anyone.

Solid business relationship with these guys. They've done a great job filling holes for us and our partners. Could not ask for a better Staffing Solution in Calgary

Have worked in temporary positions with workforce since 2015 on and off. When the Calgary job market is booming they always kept me busy with work. When things are slow, it's usually the same with all the agencies in calgary. But you can still get work if you are eager and patient. As expected with an agency of this kind. The jobs are not always great, but can be. And same with the pay. But if your looking for fast cash and up for getting payed daily. This is the place. Be there at 5:30 sharp each morning. Steel toed boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses are good things to come prepared with. But not a must as they can be rented and/or purchased before being sent to a job site.
