White Birch Cottages

Perfect little hideaway on a beautiful lake. Although the cottages are dated, they are in excellent condition and well maintained. Great for families. Lake is super shallow so is great for kids. Very friendly and helpful owners. The only thing I would caution is that the lake does have leeches, so just keep an eye out. Very close to the town of eganville. A hidden gem that we will definitely be returning to.

We have been there twice now and plan to go again next year. The owners are wonderful people and extremely friendly. The cottages are very clean and comfortable. It is a great place to enjoy peace and quiet and perfect for children. They have a well stocked toy room as well with many things to help keep everybody entertained, both indoors and outdoors. Owner's really put a damper on our week. Their house is right behind the cottages. The water is really swallow and not good for boating. We had 4 family's there all with children. We were told they were disgusted by our eating and drinking and the amount of garbage we produced.We had 4 family's in 4 cottages on vacation. Wouldnt send my dog there.This is place is good for couples over 55 who dont drink, eat little and don't produce and garage. And like to fish and boat in 2 feet of water

Very hospitable owners. They provide most necessities. Only downfall is the boats only have 1 lt. Of fuel with no fuel gage. We ran out of fuel at sunset and we waited for awhile to get fuel delivered.

Enjoyed our stay at lakefront cottage number 3. Our stay was peaceful and quiet. We rented the boat with motor to sightsee around the lake and to fish. We were able to prepare all of our meals in the kitchen and spent much time playing games (some are available to borrow and we also brought our own) as a family and rather enjoyed sitting near the big window in the evening watching the sunset and listening to nature.

Real gem of a place on the side of Wilbur/Mud lake. Four cottages with great views of the lake. Our cottage had everything we needed; cutlery and cooking utensils, very comfortable beds, nice sofa and rocking chairs, air conditioning and smaller fans also available.Lots of room outside with barbecues and tables, perfect for taking it easy or making s’mores. Also fantastic night sky views!The water is pretty shallow for the first 10m or so from the shore. It apparently has fantastic fishing (we don’t fish so I’m not sure) but great for canoeing and kayaking, without any jet skis or engine driven boats disturbing the peace.Owners were super friendly and I saw themcleaning and tending to the place during our stay. The property was very well taken care of and the cottage was very clean too.Fantastic place and hope to visit again next summer!

Next to a beautiful, calm, but unfortunately named Mud Lake, these cottages are quaint and very well equipped. A great escape to nature with most creature comforts, with the only exception being air conditioning which the owners say will be installed for summer 2022. Highly recommended for those looking for an outdoorsy getaway with good fishing, a quiet location, and lots of activities.

Friendly owners and a lovely stay. The cottages are exactly how they should be - the amenities you need and with an amazing view. I was in love with the retro furniture and comfort of the cottages. Can't wait to stay there again.

We really enjoyed our time here at Wilber Lake. Our hosts were amazing. Linda and Perry went above and beyond our expectations. They took us fishing, had some great laughs in front of the fire, along with our great neighbours Bill and Cathy. They even gave us with fresh veggies out of their own garden. Cottage was very comfortable, exactly what a cottage should be!! We absolutely will be back next summer. If you are looking for amazing scenery, abundance of wildlife, and lots of R&R this is the place for you. I would highly recommend this cottage for a quiet getaway. This is a lovely place for the family. Great place for a range of ages including young children. The lake is shallow and allows for a lot of freedom to explore water sports in a safe and fun way. Lots of items on site to use which makes for a great way to experience new things.
