I have been taking all my dogs to this vet clinic well before it was bought out by this group, unfortunately my original vet Dr Fix retired but I feel they now have some “young” blood that do care about our pets as an extension of our family.Does it seem a bit more expensive? I don’t know, I think all vet clinics can be expensive!The vet that checked over my dog this spring spent lots of time talking about issues and checking her over, he seemed knowledgeable and concerned, offering good advise and gave me quotes before doing anything.I didn’t think he recommended anything unreasonable or over the top.The day after our visit the staff even called to follow up on how my dog reacted to the flea and tick pill, I thought that was nice!I did get some emails from a pet insurance company after, I think this clinic provided them with my email to solicit and offer me coverage....that I wasn’t happy with.Overall I’m pleased and will continue to bring my dog to this clinic.

Excellent vet. Our dog Sloan has been going here for years and we are very happy with the care provided. Sloan has a lot of medical needs and Bay Cities has been very helpful with navigating that.

Terrific! Allison at the front desk is so accommodating and friendly. She definitely made my two dogs feel welcome and comfortable during their first visit. The vet was very comprehensive and took her time to explain treatment options and answer all of my questions. Multiple techs came to assist with a blood draw and urine sample, as my guy was a little wary of having these done. An excellent clinic with I highly recommend!

My cat was severely constipated and called Bay Cities and asked if there was an over the counter medication to give to my cat. The receptionist immediately quoted it would be $110 just to see my cat and hung up. Really? I called again and inquired about the Harley Foundation. The receptionist very rudely said funds were all used up and hung up on me yet again. If this is the face of your business I can only imagine how my cat would have been treated. I did bring my cat in when he was a kitten 14 years ago and the reception was totally different. I would never bring my cat there as this place is ONLY concerned about money. I ended up bringing my cat to another vet and to have him examined it was only $69. I ended up going to Chez Pharmacy and bought Lactulose for $10 and my cat is much happier. My cat has been with me since I moved here and he is my best friend, trust me there are other vets in the city who truly care about the well being of your animal. All I did was a google search and found someone who actually cares about animals.

I had placed cat food on hold for my senior cat that has kidney disease and my hubby was supposed to pick it up before they closed . Needless to say he didn’t pick it up and was sidetracked at his health club lol, I called the clinic in a panic as it was 10 mins before closing and my fur baby wouldn’t have enough of her food to last until Monday . Georgia , the woman who picked up the phone took my payment and even drove the case of food over to my house ! She went above and beyond her duties at the clinic and I couldn’t let that go without giving her this review . My pets are not even patients at this location and yet she still did this wonderful favour for me ! Thank you soooo much Georgia !!!!!!!!

I had a great visit at the veterinarian facility today the doctor was very attentive to my pet's needs.

Our decision to put our cat down came as a result of several attacks on family members and now our grandchild. We did not feel comfortable giving her to someone else so made the decision to put her down and made the appointment. We were told that the vet did not feel comfortable putting her down until we exhausted all other avenues such as tests, medication etc.. more money to be paid out.

We took our dog Rex to Bay cities when he suddenly became seriously ill. Unfortunately it was a serious case and although things turned for the worse Dr Golding and the rest of the team made Rex very comfortable during his last 2 days. We are absolutely heartbroken but they made things a lot easier for us knowing he was so well cared for

This place is fantastic! My fur babies feel comfortable and at ease here. The Doctors provide excellent care and options for me and my pets ! The Ladies at the front desk are very accommodating and kind,they always make me feel welcome. Technicians are wonderful and really knowledgeable! I have been bringing my animals here for over 23 years and have had nothing but excellent service!

We've been clients of Bay Cities for years as our cat Danza was a patient of the clinic for the last 18 years ever since we adopted her as a kitten all the way to her unfortunate passing recently. I have no complaints at all of the care our cat received in her time as a Bay Cities patient. All staff from the vets, to the vet techs, to the administrative staff are all compassionate and kind hearted people and provide the best treatment they possibly can for your pet.Bay Cities has a reputation of being on the pricier side compared to other vets, but I can attest that you absolutely get what you pay for. They go above and beyond to recommend and carry out the best possible treatment for your pet(s) and they make sure to follow up and check for updates on how your pet is responding to at home treatment or recovery in the days following a procedure or treatment at the clinic.I can't commend them enough for how accommodating and flexible they were in seeing us at the very last minute with no advanced notice on several occasions over the last few months as our cat had more frequent health issues. When we would call, they would make room to see us the same day even on their busiest days without an appointment. And when we had to make the heartbreaking decision to proceed with end of life care; they were compassionate, understanding, kind-hearted and very empathetic and made an exception to allow us to be in the clinic by our cat's side in person for her final moments during a time where only curbside appointments were permitted due to COVID. For that, I will be forever grateful to them. And not only did they make a monetary donation to a pet charity in our cat’s name following her passing; they also provided us with beautiful and thoughtful keepsakes of our sweet baby girl free of charge that I will cherish for a lifetime. That I will also be forever grateful for. And that speaks volumes to the kind of people that work at this clinic. They recognize your pet is more than just a pet - they’re family. And they treat them and honour them as such.If you have the means, don’t let the price tag deter you from this clinic. Everyone who works here has a heart of gold and they go above and beyond to provide the best possible care for your pet. Did we spend a lot of money here? Yes. But our cat received the best care in the world. Having our cat be a Bay Cities patient was absolutely worth it.
