Cariboo Centre

Stopped at Great Clips. The rest of the Mall was semi deserted.

There are mostly empty stores. All that is open is the bottle return, great clips, life labs, an insurance agency & a restaurant. I may have missed 1 open business but its really barren. The photo is totally outdated, the grocery store is long gone.

Is ok. Ever since Independent Grocer closed. Is kind of quiet. I do go to Life Lab and Great Clip there.

What was once a vibrant Strip Mall has seen better days. Since the Independent grocery store left, the mall sits mostly empty, a relic of a bygone era of brick-and-mortar retail.As online shopping big box stores and Lougheed mall have taken over, the Cariboo Mall has struggled to attract and retain tenants for awhile. Over the past several years, major stores have all closed down, leaving one very large empty storefront at the Cariboo center. Which is strange in ways since the immediate area has seen incredible so many developments of 40 story condos.For those who remember this mall in its heyday, filled with shoppers and energy, its current state is rather depressing. Great little strip mall.It's a shame it will soon make way for high rise developments like the rest of the North road corridor.

Went to drop off recycling at encorp. Quick and easy because I have an account. Maximum 6 bags. Money deposited into my account in 5 days. It works for me.Also went to Share Tea. New fruit teas available. Always good.Parking is free.

The thing I like about this mall is the abundance of available parking spaces. I can usually find parking close to the location I’m going to, whether it’s LifeLabs, Return-It Depot, ShareTea, Great Clips or the The Independent Grocer. There’s not a lot of interesting shops here though. I don’t visit most of the shops.

LIFE LABSThey are appt only at this location.After waiting inline (line up out the door), 40 minutes past my appt time, they tell me it'll be another 40 minutes.If they can't keep on time for their booked appts, call the patients and let them know. OR, have a link online to the text they sent us to check wait times !Even Supercuts next door has better appt follow up etc.Get it together people !

Use to shop here all the time it's a real shame that it closed down!
