Confederation place was good for the price. Office and maintenance staff were friendly and quick to address any issues. Got my full damage deposit back within a couple days of moving out. Would rent from Risa again.

It's an okay place to live, minus the riff raff around the area. I understand it's not Risa's fault. But they try to handle situations to the best of their abilities. When I have problems with maintenance, it is usually fixed and handled right away. For the people commenting about being discriminated due to skin color... I'm First Nations, and there are other indigenous tenants in the building. So your comments are very inaccurate.

No professionalism whatsoever, no time management. The worst ever people to talk to. I applied for an apartment online and told them to let me know even if it isn’t approved as I had to let someone else know or look for another. They said they would. Had us calling every single day,” you can call back tomorrow to check in, we don’t have any updates yet” and on the last day they hung up while I was still talking on the phone. When I called them back she was very rude about it and being racist!

Management is very helpful. Been renting with them for years. Have 0 issues with getting things fixed. And they remove the snow down the the pavement in the winter after a big storms.

These people won’t rent to me because of family members reputation with them, I just turned 18 so I wasn’t legally allowed to lease anything until now. But I feel racially profiled and discriminated. The lady on the phone wouldn’t even let me explain that Im not my family I’m a kid moving out of my moms, she just hung up on me. Overall all one of the worst rental agencies I’ve come across.

They ripped me off $300 dollars and I had to take them to court! Got my security deposit back 6 months later. Hopefully they changed, but its not ALWAYS as good as it seems! if this is someone's first apartment be curious and use the critical thinking skills. That's all. bye

I thought thus place was very professional and friendly secretary and was very helpful to our needs. I would highly recommend them for safe, affordable housing. The buildings are well kept and very clean. I was very impressed. Thank you very much Risa Properties.

I was with Risa Management for about a year in 2017-2018 and they were very efficient. To get a bigger apartment urgently near the university, we had to move to another company. Having a very very bad service, we had to change again in 2019 and we luckily got a suitable one under Risa again. Since then it was a very pleasant experience so far. Whenever we had any issues, they fixed it right away or try to do as soon as possible making us feel like a priority always which we never got on our previous rental company. They always go above and beyond to help us. I cannot even praise enough about their regular maintenance personnel, pest control personnel and the office staff who picks the phone. They are so nice, always so welcoming and smiling, thanks to the management and the building owner. I guess I am not going to leave the company as long as I am in this city. Keep up the good work.

Why advertise rooms available when you have literally nothing available? Disorganized, and I have called back more than 14 times throughout the week to follow up only to be told the room isn't available. They ask for rental reference but why bother if the room isn't even available. Garbage company. The fact that I had to follow up with you so much is just embarassing. Do not rent with them.
