Our favourite place to explore and spend time with the family and nature. Main Trail and Withrod loop are not maintained in the winter therefore they close the main gate but you can still walk/explore at your own risk. In the summer it's a great place to swim or watch a beautiful sunset.

Serene and beautiful lake with walking trails. Can be windy at times if you go to the lake after walking through trees and shrubs.

Long Lake
It's a nice place in general but the bottom of the lake wasn't really comfortable if you're not that good of a swimmer and you need to stay in the shallow water, it's kind of uncomfortable to do so in this lake.

Long Lake
Long lake is a great spot to go, the trail is very well maintained, there is no garbage cans so please take your garbage with you when leaving. There are many off the trail swimming spots with little to no people at them. The water was relatively warm for the middle of June. No complaints and one of my go to swim spots.
