We are so happy with our experience and feel so lucky to have found Richard (Two Studs)! Richard was the contractor for our basement renovation (finishing an unfinished basement) and if I had known how straightforward and stress-free the process would be, we would've contacted Two Studs and finished our basement years ago!Right from the start, Richard made the whole renovation process easy, clear, predictable, and stress-free for us, all while delivering a high-quality product. Everyone I've talked to can't believe how perfectly our project unfolded, which speaks to Richard's skills, project management, and crew/relationships.Three things really stood out for us:- Richard's timing, amazing project management skills, and relationships with the trades professionals: Every single step in the process followed the original timeline that we were given. Having things be so predictable made the project a breeze from our perspective. There were obviously great relationships, trust, and communication behind-the-scenes with all of trades, since everyone simply showed up exactly when we were told to expect them!- The quality of the work. Even though our basement project was fairly basic (what we wanted - and what Richard delivered - was a fun and functional space for our family), Richard was committed to high-quality work and bringing in the best people. They were all very detail-oriented and did excellent work. We appreciate how seriously Richard took our project right from the start - spending time during the estimate to get to know our hopes for the space. This wasn't our experience with other estimators, who were quick to dismiss our project as being too small to take on.- Richard's communication and responsiveness. He was quick to share updates and respond to questions (not that we had many questions, given how clear the timeline was and how smoothly the process unfolded!).Overall, we could not be happier with our renovation experience and the final product. We will definitely use Richard and Two Studs again and have already recommended him to friends!

We have used Two Studs Basement Development for 3 different jobs over the past 5 years and have been more than pleased with the results. They began with a full basement development from the blueprint stage all the way to its fabulous completion. This was followed by a tear down and rebuild on our back deck which went from a 11’x11’ barely usable deck to a 11’x25’ amazing deck with underneath storage. Our last job was a complete kitchen renovation that included an island redo, backsplash teardown and resurface and a hood fan install and granite install. We couldn’t be more pleased with the jobs Two Studs have completed on time and at the prices promised. I would recommend them for any job a perspective customer may have.

Richard and his team recently completed our basement renovation. Wow! The finished product is incredible! Every trade involved was extremely professional and often went above and beyond, by the end of the project it felt like we had old friends working in our home. Richard communicated every step of the way and all work was done according to schedule. We would highly recommend Two Studs for any renovation project.

After many years of debate I finally decided to have my basement renovated. It has been almost 1 month since the project was completed and I couldn't be more pleased. Richard made the process very easy and transparent. When your contractor starts to become as excited as you are about the end result, you know you have made a good decision! Richard, and any of the trade representatives accessing my home were professional, respectful and knowledgeable.

Richard and his team did an amazing job on my “basement” renovation which is more like a small room. A lot of companies won’t take on a small project like this but Richard said it was no problem at all. From framing, insulation, fire rated drywall, HVAC repair, electrical, new closet and enclosing the furnace room, I now have an amazing usable space! Everyone on his team was very respectful and professional and Richard kept me informed every step of the way. I already have another project in mind for Two Studs!

Just completed some home renovations with Two Studs and couldn't be happier with the results. The outfit is run by Richard who setup the simple contract with no surprises. All trades were very friendly, personable, and professional - from Aaron who did the new trim, Wojcjech who did the painting, and Pete for the flooring. Quality was excellent throughout. The team also showed some flexibility with some minor changes to the scope of work along the way. Also, I needed this done by a set end date, and Richard had it all done per what we had agreed. Henrique was in charge of the kitchen design and he is a true artist, his work was impeccable and he always had a great smile and big disposition. We were also lucky to work with Wojciech and Francis for painting and mudding, they really did their best to accommodate our family that was living at home during the renovation.
