NAPA AUTOPRO - Gibson's Garage

My friend blew a flat tire. While we were gone to get the tools (it was late at night) the cops had the car towed. That was not the problem. This issue was the guy that answered when we phoned was unprofessional and kinda rude. He wanted $150 for my buddy to get his car back! We called dwaines towing as they had towed a car at the same time up the road for unrelated incident and he only charges $60.This person was very disrespectful and he no compassion! We had just come back to find the vehicle towed. He wouldn’t even let us come get the car right away, he said we had to wait till the morning! His reasoning for charging so much because it was the middle of the night. Again, the OPP called him and not us. If it’s such an inconvenience then maybe you should work or own a 24 hour business because no matter the time the prices should not change.Then my buddy called in the morning to get his car and he got the car deliver for $200 right to his door which makes no sense! An extra $50 to go 45 minutes to an hour out of the way.Seems like they just charge whatever they want, whenever they want. Very unprofessional! I will never recommend them to anyone. I notified the OPP officer of the situation as well that had made the call. He informed us that he called the closest towing company. So if gibsons is the closest then they should have charged the same or less then dwaines towing. But nope $90 more. Absolutely crazy!

Amazing service, work and people!! I have interacted mostly with Jamie and Andrew. They are both such genuine and trustworthy people. Very knowledgeable and kind. When I walk in, I always feel so welcomed, like a friend. In my opinion they are the best garage/mechanical service in the Ottawa Valley. For that reason, they will always have my business!:)

Every now and again you find a great mechanic. Jamie at Gibson's Auto which is part of the NAPA Auto Pro is fantastic. Doesn't fix things that don't need fixing, rarely charges to diagnose the issue and is extremely knowledgeable. While it seems his prices are slightly higher then other garages it is money well spent. Most parts are backed by the NAPA guarantee and Jamie stands behind his work. So the next time you need a repair go out and see Gibson's. Good people, great staff and truly professional.

These guys here are absolutely amazing this was the 2end tire blown I'm coben past 5 year's lol. Both times this garage saved my butt. Both times kiddies were with us and ofcourse in-between. Pays. Our car broke down in Cobden during a road trip. Gibson's diagnosed the problem took care of it right away while we waited! Great experience!
