Sea Shanty Fish & Chips
First time trying this restaurant. Was going to take out but decided to stay and eat the food there while it was hot and fresh. I ordered the halibut and fries dinner with a side of coleslaw. The fish was one of the best I’ve had with a thick piece of fish covered in a delicious hot crunchy batter and here’s the important piece, no grease. The regular cut fries were served hot and perfectly cooked and the coleslaw tasted homemade and creamy. I really liked how they presented the dinner as well, very appealing to the eye. The amount they gave you was very generous and you left satisfied. Will definitely go back.

Sea Shanty Fish & Chips
Hands down the best fish and chips I've ever had! They offer cod, haddock and halibut. I had the haddock for under $20 taxes included and it was not fishy at all, very fresh. But the best part was the batter, it was super crunchy, light and airy. They do their own tatar sauce in house and cut their own fries; it's thick cut which goes so well with their viscous gravy!Thanks for the helpful and friendly service too!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sea Shanty Fish and Chips in Burlington, and I must say, I was blown away by the quality of the food and service. From start to finish, my experience at Sea Shanty was nothing short of exceptional, and I would give it a five-star rating without hesitation.First and foremost, the fish and chips were absolutely delicious. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a crispy golden batter and tender, flaky white fish inside. The chips were also outstanding - crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. It was clear that the ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality. I also appreciated the variety of sauces and condiments available to accompany the meal.In addition to the food, the service was top-notch. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making me feel right at home. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere.Overall, Sea Shanty Fish and Chips is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious seafood in Burlington. The quality of the food and service is truly exceptional, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I will definitely be returning soon!

I have been looking for 10 years for the best fish & chips in Burlington and found it tonight! The owners are a lovely young couple who bought this place last year. They are friendly, the drinks are cold and the food is excellent!

Sea Shanty Fish & Chips
We have been to Sea Shanty a few times now and it is consistently good! Fish is cooked really well with a light and crisp batter. Portion sizes are just right. The staff are awesome, and super friendly. Our two daughters asked if they have colouring sheets, they didn't but found them pen and paper and promised if we came back they would have something for next time. Sure enough, when we returned last week they remembered us and promptly came by with a fun little activity sheet and crayons much to the girls delight. Top notch customer service and great food! We’ll be back soon!

Im not the one to leave a review but in this case I had to, this is my first review I’ve ever done. This was my first time trying Sea Shanty’s fish and chips, I purchased a Halibut and chips on the way home from my work and when I got home and opened the container I felt so disappointed and taken advantage of I couldn’t believe for $20 I got the smallest portion of fish and chips I’ve ever gotten before in my life, I’ve eaten fish and chips all over the GTA for the last 30 years and usually a fish and chip place your expecting a big peace of fish and lots of fries. This place was the complete opposite. This will be the first and last time I purchase anything from there a establishment . This picture shows you what $20 gets you .

Great first experience at Sea Shanty. Good size portion of fish with a delicious crispy batter. Accompanied by a serving of fries, which unfortunately were cold and hard but we did show up 10 mins before close. The gravy was huge and the coleslaw was good. Next time I think we'll dine in for best experience of fish and fries right away, hot from the fryer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will go back again.

I love fish and chips and was excited to try this place out. The fish was okay - a bit salty, but the chips were the worst I've had in a long time - they were dry and hard like supermarket bag fries in a high school cafeteria, I couldn't finish it.

Great service, awesome staff, great tasting selection of food especially their fish and chips. Reasonably priced as well. I can highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely come back again soon!
