Dakasi New West

The decor of the store was quite welcoming. The staff were friendly and the value for the drinks were also good. I ordered the fresh taro with fresh milk cold and my wife ordered the mango slush. We ordered the drinks with regular sugar and ice so that we could have them as they were meant to be made.The quality of pearls were very good. Considering that it was 45 minutes away from closing time, the pearls still had the nice soft texture as if it was just freshly made. The fresh taro had good flavour and the texture had bits of taro in it. Depending on your preference you may or may not like that. The mango slush flavour was good but the texture was a tad icy, maybe a more thorough blend could have helped?Overall I enjoyed the bubble tea and if I am ever in the neighborhood again I would definitely pop on by as there aren't a lot of options for bbt in New west.

I had the charcoal oolong tea which was really tasty and a great sweetness level. My real only nitpick is getting into the 5/6/7 dollar range and you aren’t getting fresh milk every time(it’s powdered otherwise). Other places in the same price bracket in Vancouver don’t charge a extra premium for fresh milk. Also sad they didn’t bring in the cool drinks in Dakasi Asia like the Okinawa milk tea

Came to the grand opening and ordered the black sugar fresh milk tea and the charcoal oolong milk tea ! It was delicious and not overly sweet. Its nice that you can also customize sugar and ice level. The charcoal oolong is very unique and has become one of my favourites. Staff is are nice and friendly, and I didn't have to wait long for the drinks even though it was a busy grand opening. Definitely coming back!

Such a cute little bbt place. Went in for a take out, the service was prompt. Seating is available and the place is very clean. The limited edition pineapple lemon green tea was delish, it was on bogo on Mon to Thursday. The assamMilk tea was also really good. There were cheese tarts and Castello cheesecakes as well. Definitely recommend this place and will be going back soon.

Ordered through an app in advance and the drinks were made a bit earlier than anticipated. Drinks were good and staff kept them cold until they were picked up.Was quite empty on a weekday afternoon and staff were friendly and service was efficient.Would recommend visiting again to try out more of the menu.

I love this place the drinks are perfect and they give way more pearls then other places. 10/10 recommend if you're craving bubble tea

My husband and I were out in New Westminster and we decided to try out the Dakasi bubble tea shop. It's a small hole in the wall shop, right next door to a Chinese restaurant; it's easy to miss if you're not keeping a sharp lookout for it. We ordered Charcoal Oolong Milk Tea, and Perfect Matcha.Charcoal Oolong Milk Tea: It was made with Oat milk, which is great for people who have troubles with dairy products. It seems that for a lot of drinks at this shop, Oat milk is an extra 50 cents; however, this one was already made with Oat milk. It had a really nice taste of brown sugar (or black sugar as it's called in some shops) in it and we're huge fans of brown sugar in our bubble tea drinks.Perfect Matcha: This was a blend of Matcha, milk and red beans. The Matcha flavor in my Perfect Matcha was intense, and paired nicely with the red beans. I tend to be on and off with red beans, depending on how they're used. More often than not, I think I'm off with red beans. Tried the Black Sugar Coffee Milk Tea. Balanced coffee & tea flavour profile. Just the right amount of sweetness. Chewy pearls. Friendly & considerate staff. Clean & inviting space. Will definitely come back to try their other signature drinks and Taiwanese chicken nuggets.

Good stuff, should be a little more thick for brown sugar pearl tea, but not bad either. Decent amount of pearls in there so I'd recommend it.
