Highly recommend Mike and his team. I brought my car to them a week ago and replaced my rotors, pads, shocks, and shock mounts. Their prices are excellent, as is their service. Mike explained the procedure and cost break down very clearly to me. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Been there once because my leaking fuel system.At beginning, everything looks good, my car brake down and they are the only shop around that area opening on Saturday, so I bring my car to them.After they “diagnosis” the car, they told me I need to order a new fuel line, pump as well as a fuel filter, and telling me the inside of the fuel tank looks bad (due to rust) but they are not sure if it’s the tank leaking gas yet, due to the part is hard to source, I asked them to test if the tank is leaking with water inside and if it’s leaking I’ll buy a new tank. After few weeks they told me the car is ready, so I assumed they test it with water and it does not leak.Then I go, pick it up, and fuel it up, it ends up leaking as hell from gas tank, and later on after I remove the tank myself, I found multiple very obvious holes on it.The final bill contains two parts, 400 for diagnosis and 500 for labor, I found it’s a bit too much compare to the quote he provided to me previously and asked them how they calculate their labor hour, they said they don’t use flat rate book and told me every shop have their own way to calculate labor hour. Okay, I get that, so why you charge me “diagnosis fee” and fail to pin point those big holes on the tank? They are more than obvious.Also, they reuse the copper washer when changing oil, it’s not a big deal, but to be honest, all those small things make them looks unprofessional.They probably good at Japanese/US cars, but definitely a no go for European car owner. Forget about the more complicated diagnosis, they can’t find the simple fuel leak.

Mike is professional & friendly. Service is prompt & reliable. He's honest & remembers his customers, a sincere man. Took my tire in to get patched, but he checked the other 3 tires without my asking. That's great service. Given the choice I will always bring our vehicles here.

I'd highly recommend Mike at pitt river auto to everyone. His cost on parts and labour is untouchable! The last repair he did was significantly less than what he originally quoted. It's very rare to find a mechanic/shop this honest.

I highly recommend Pitt River Auto for excellent service. Mike took in my car quickly, gave me a thorough breakdown of what my repairs needed to be as well as an estimated cost. The repairs were done promptly, the warranties were explained to me and Mike charged me only half price for some of the repairs and even discounted some of his labour costs to try to keep close to his original estimate! He went above and beyond what I expected as I anticipated paying more for all the work that was required! Thank you, Mike for your generosity and hard work. The car is running great!
