Tim Hortons on Saint Peter's is the best of the best I feel like home when I go and I pass in the drive thru but they make me feel like family they know what I order and they always make sure I'm satisfied before I drive away... love them all

On Friday 21st April 2023, I made a stop at this Tim Horton's on my way to work, I usually go to the one downtown , but because I expected the other to be very busy figures this would work out well, I place my order stated paying by debit card, server is busy preparing coffee,, I keyed in my pin ,, said invalid.. keyed it in a second time same thing invalid,, third try after the fact the server says the numbers stick on the debit machine. well a bit late after the fact I would say, my card then declined , people in the back of me an I am embarrassed. The the server seemed angry that she had to cancel my order, well perhaps if she would have mentioned there was an issue with the debit machine prior this would not have happened. I work during bank hours I called to reset my card, but would have to visit the local bank.. however when I left work and got to the bank it was closed. My whole weekend ruined ,,no bank card, could not get errands done ( ok so a lot of you will say use credit card or carry cash ) but on my behalf why should I my card worked great till this. I asked the manager to call me and I received a call at 7:05 am this morning Monday April 24-2023 , and was told they were getting the machine fixed. No I apologize for inconvenience ..nothing that is what I do not call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE , perhaps the chain who now owns Tims would like an update

My crew went through the drive thru for 2 separate orders! I got a coffee and the other 2 guys both got meals. We were told they cannot take more than one order in the drive through and we need to combine the orders. When we got inside they started to whisper and point at us. I’ve worked at Tim hortons for years and have always been able to take more then one order for more then one customer in the drive thru. Considering they all had headsets they clearly need better training and should’nt be allowed to refuse business because they were trying to get the best drive through times. Quite Frustrated and disappointed . They need a reminder of what their job is and better training.

I am a friendly, polite person and I was treated in an unfriendly, impolite way. I ordered six donuts and they were placed upside down in the box, with the lid left wide open. The girl who took my order couldn’t seem to care about her job less. Baked items were fallen everywhere in the case as though they were there thrown in. I am new in town and I will never go to this location again.

The coffee and donut was fine. Typical Tim Hortons. What set this place apart was the counter staff. They were very friendly, and kind.
