Active Air Airdrie

We have had Darren come and help out with plumbing, mounting our TV and wall mounted fireplace. Every time Darren comes by, he is very professional and super quick while still providing quality work. We highly recommend working with Darren!

When it comes to their duct cleaning specials they will hold up to their word on what they offer. Anything extra will be charged which is quite normal. The thing that was very abnormal with them is that they tried to charge us on a tech that we did not authorize to be brought on site. The tech they brought said our furnace needs to be repaired and showed us a piece that was melted because of how hot the furnace would get. The piece was not attached to the furnace itself. They showed us the temperature went to 200 degrees c and that it should never go up to 70 degrees c and when we called in our professional furnace person, they said that no it is very normal for it to go that high and they can go up to 400 degrees c. They also told us that our A/C was installed poorly, even though a senior installation tech installed our A/C unit originally. It just seemed very sketchy and shady that they tried to gouge us out of our money. My wife was alone and they thought they could take advantage of her. Be careful if you end up going with them, price may not be what it seems.

Darren and his team cleaned my furnace, vents and dryer system last week. They were extremely professional and provided a valued service. Darren answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. He explained how his equipment worked and what was going to be done. He even showed me the aftermath and the dirt and grime which came out of my heating system. I hired Darren to replace my hot water tank. His price was the lowest out of all the companies I had contacted. He showed up on time and replaced the tank in a few hours. Very good quality work and very humble. Hes the only contractor that ever followed up after he did the work. He also helped me answer some of the concerns I had. I would definetly recommend him and will use him in the future.

We have been using Darren for all of our handy work around the house for over 2.5 years now. Darren provides quality work and excellent service. He is very professional and is the jack of all trades. He's replace shower heads, toilets, and a kitchen faucet for us as well as installed shelving and done a huge job of staining our deck and ramps, among many other minor handy work projects. He is always the first person we call to get work done around the house. We will continue using him for years to come. We've never had any problems.
