Great experience with Avril. She has been a huge help to my two boys. I definitely see a tremendous improvement. We couldn't be happier with all of Avril's help, care and patients she has with my boys.I'd highly recommend Avril.

My 3.5 year old joined Kumon and she really loved it. It was amazing to see how quickly she learnt to write numbers and read simple words. Thank you Avril and Linda for your guidance. I would highly recommend Kumon if you wish for your child to develop an interest in math and reading and become an independent learner.

I highly recommend Kumon, the program truly teaches kids discipline, good time management, and above all confidence to perform well since the program has them prepared them ahead.My kids have gone to Avril Salgado since they were little (one is now in university and the other in high school)Avril is awesome, she is patient, hard working, dedicated, Knowledgeable, readily available when they need help - even sometimes over the phone.

Both our children have been part of this program, 16 years put together.Mrs. Salgado always has been and still does guide the students patiently, available to student's queries 7 days of the week and keeps parents informed.Even during these unprecedented times she has kept the program running efficiently with out any hindrance and taking utmost care and effort to maintain the practice habits of children along with the center's additional needs and necessities for our current situation.

We have found Avril to be very professional and helpful for our son. She is doing a great job of helping get him back on track and learn in a different way then the school seems to be teaching. He was struggling with his reading and we are only 2 months in and already seeing a difference. His confidence is growing to the point where he tries reading even when not required. We looked into other similar programs and found them to be very expensive and not nearly as structured. We have never had any issues with professionalism. We too were unsure about whether to make the leap financially (due to the uncertainty with Covid) and Avril was reassuring that no matter what we could work something out if something terrible with our jobs happened. She is a very caring educator and I believe this is a great program that clearly has (after reading the other reviews) and will help many children. Thank you!

She is a professional teacher she helped to improve my kids math and English since Kindergarten to grade 6. Her way of teaching is really helpful. I recommend Kumon than any other place because no matter what, she tries her hardest to help you online or not.

I highly recommend this program. My sister and I have completed both the math and reading programs by grade 11. After less than a year since starting the program, we began to see improvements in our marks in all subject areas. This program not only taught me the fundamental math and reading skills that go beyond the Ontario curriculum, but the daily practice also helped me develop concentration and self-learning skills that have helped me during both high school and university. The instructor Avril Salgado is also very passionate about helping all students achieve academic success, and was always reachable by phone whenever I needed help.

My daughter has been in Kumon for 5 years now. There are so many benefits and not just math skills. It taught her how to do her work independent and to have a growth mindset when things go tough. I highly recommend this program, however please be aware you will have to stay on top of your child as there is work everyday.

I had my girl enrolled in Kumon since she was 4 years old and the reason been the fact that as an immigrant , English was not our first language. Avril Salgado saw the potential on my daughter and a year an half later encouraged me to enroll her in Math. My daughter love math and she is doing very well working on level J at the beginning of grade 6. In June 2019 she got the award for finishing level J on English and now is on her last part of level K. For me Shakespeare is hard to understand and high school students are struggling with this , my daughter got the meaning of his work and navigates easily .When I had a question and I couldn't help my daughter , by emailing of phoning Avril I got my answer right the way.
