The receptionists are friendly and very hard working! My 22-year-old daughter and I have been seeing Dr. Koh here since 1996! I won't go to any other physician. If something in my health needs looking at by a specialist, she makes a referral. She is thorough, personable and altogether too smart. Great bedside manner!

Dr. Magnusson took me on as a patient after my previous doctor moved away and be has always been pleasant to deal with. Have never spent much time at all waiting before appointments.

Dr. Peters has been my GP for about 2 years now because my doctor left MB. I have never been overly impressed by him. I like to joke and smile, even when I was diagnosed with MS I cracked jokes, but I get absolutely NOTHING in return. Don't think I've ever seen him crack a smile. But then I had it with him today when I took my son into the walk-in bc his regular dr is on holiday. My son has had a fever for almost 4 days now and has been complaining about a sore ear. I am sure it's the same infection that my daughter and multiple kids from her school have had. My son has sensory issues and was crying and cringing because he didn't want the doctor to look in his ears. Dr. Peters didn't even try to talk to my son to calm him down. I was pleading with him to help me. I was able to hold my son so he could have a look but he said I'm not going to look at him if he's like his". He is a 6 year old that is scared... he did NOTHING to help. Told me to just keep giving him Tylenol... after 4 days of fevering just keep giving him Tylenol!!! I have seen other doctors with my kids at the walk-in and have been impressed. And the staff at Riverwood are great

This place has been a life saver. Dr. Magnusson is one of the best doctors I've encountered in Winnipeg. He takes the time to actually listen to what you have to say. The staff at the clinic are also great and friendly.

My doctor is Dr. Shariff and I really enjoy having her! Had an emergency I needed to get checked out right away, the women at reception was so amazing to get me in the day of! I had a doctor that I forget her name but she was amazing and was very helpful to resolve the issue I was having! Would highly recommend Riverwood Medical Centre!

Went last week for my 4 years old daughter. I came with my baby as well. No change table and the receptionist didn't want to find a solution to change the diaper. I waited the end of the appointment to change the diaper on the examination table. Unfortunately the diaper felt beside the table ( i had only one left) and I was not able to reach it. I asked the receptionist but she didn't seem interested. I asked again for help, she finally came and said i come back". After few minutes she was not here so i asked my other daughter to reach the diaper ( hopefully she didn't hurt her self) . I left the room and saw the receptionist comfortable sit on her chair speaking with her coworker... i felt humiliated

Dr. Magnusson is the best doctor I have ever had!!!! I will never change doctors. He actually cares about his patients and he listens. The receptionists are very nice to.

I was inherited by Dr Mukty when my previous MD retired. My last visit will be my...last visit to RWM and as Dr Mukty's patient. I was told to come in as a walk in to see Dr Mukty, when I arrived I was told walk in's do not get to choose their Dr.....?? So I clarified that I was acting on their direction to which the receptionist begrudgingly accommodated me with emphases on clarifying that future walk ins would not accommodate this request. After waiting 45 minutes and watching people before me be seen I asked what I should expect to be permitted entry, only then I was escorted in. Dr Mukty's demeanor is very sharp and to the point. Do not expect any niceties. Meeting with her always feels like you're walking on egg shells. It reminds me the soup natzy episode from Sienfeld. This was a follow up appt for new medication. I was prescribed a double term length of one but not of the other medication that was previously prescribed with little to no explanation. Even though both medications served different purposes, probably because I asked to have the prescription larger!? In closing, I explained that the way I can visit her is if I leave my employer during the day, as such I asked if I could have a note to provide to my employer as a curtesy. She pointed to one of the many taped up office regulations, one such one contained obscene charges for the simplest things. For her to scribble her pen on a piece of paper was $20. She blamed the front desk and said they would get upset if I extended such a curtesy. In parting, I asked if she had seen the google reviews for her medical practice. She must have because she sharply replied that she doesnt care about those reviews, and when I pointed out that she serves the public and these are public opinion, she reiterated that she only cares about the board in which she reports too. She then suggested I find a different Dr. Best advice I received from her in the 3 times I was scene by her.

I've had Dr Mukty for years and I've never had a doctor so genuinely nice and caring. I've also seen the other doctors for walk-ins and have had no negative experiences. Short waiting time and receptionists are nice.

Hi my husband and I both have dr Magnuson. He’s great and so on the ball and thorough. He got us through some bad times with health and we were so grateful to have him as our doctor.The staff there are great too…Kathy and the other girls are very nice.RegardsLinda Pelletier
