The decor and ambiance felt warm and authentic here, but the service was very slow. It took a long while to order and an hour or so wait time for the dishes. As for the food, the hot & sour soup was better than most places here, the steamed shrimp and chive dumplings were excellent, but the beef curry dumplings were undercooked. Overall, it was decent but still so much potential to be better given the nice interior.

Xia long bao meat doesn’t or taste right. Gyoza style dumpling were okay but again the quality of the ingredient is sub-par the meat is clearly processed in a commercial way as it look like a paste. This just isn’t right.

Cozy Chinese restaurant at St Catherine Street, in an area not so crowded with restaurants, very good to enjoy food after a movie at the Forum theater. There's plenty to choose from on the menu and the price is very reasonable. Looking forward to going there again.

Taste: One of the best dumplings place in MTL. I took Beef coriander and Beef curry onions. It was so juicy, and it was full of flavour. They charged $1.50 for fried dumplings definitely worth it.Downside: The waiting time was 30 min... Wished they were a little faster. They only take cash or debit.

This place is a hidden gem.I was hungry and walking by when the low prices caught my eye. My expectations weren't great going in, but was pleasantly surprised at how rich and savoury the dumplings were and also at the large portions.

Good location. Very good dumplings. The only chicken item in the menu is a COLD one NOT a food served hot. Shrimp dumpling is very good. Fried veg dumpling is crispy but lacking in taste. Space is little cramped. The entry doors bangs all the time when people enter and exit and it’s very annoying while dinning inside the restaurant. Price is ok, location is perfect easy to find.

A nice and cozy dumpling restaurant for a quiet meal. A few food vegetarian options in dumplings and sides. Seems a bit understaffed but the server was friendly. Really enjoyed everything until I noticed the spider web between the arm of my chair and the seat along with its very alive habitant. That may have dampened the experience somewhat

Not a bad place for dumplings. My friends and I popped into this restaurant as the other one about 50 feet East of this had a crazy long line in front of it =(The interior decor is nice but we didn’t have a great experience in terms of food. Our soups and dumplings were all barely warm and there were a lot of alarm noises going off in the back... so we kind of understood why this place was sort of empty and the other one was packed… and that is unfortunate since this restaurant has a lot of potentials.
