I had an issue with some pendant lights I had purchased through their website, where I mistakenly chose the wrong color. Their rep Melanie helped me to identify the correct ones, and made the exchange as painless as possible. They sent someone right to my door to pickup the old items. Overall a smooth experience.

I purchased in the Oakville location due to the selection and customer service. I did not have any issues and the staff are quite helpful. I purchased 4 light fixtures, two I have below in pictures. Every single person that enters my home makes comments on my beautiful lighting. All of my neighbors are quite envious of my lighting as I am in a townhome where almost everyone has the same lighting. This has really made not only my space but also a clear design statement. I recommend this store to my clients, friends and family.

I purchased lamps from Concept Lighting on October 4, 2021. Their website was misleading on the delivery time so I waited almost 2 months for the lamps to arrive. Concept never contacted me at any point and I had to contact them a number of times to get any indication of what was happening with the order. Once lamps arrived they were not the right fit and needed to be returned. The return process is very frustrating and the wording of their return policy definitely lacks customer service approach. I live in Toronto and drove the lamps back to the store in Oakville on December 3. I still have not received a refund minus the ridiculous 25% restocking fee. I have emailed their customer service 2 times and still have not had a reply. The same lamps were available through the Bay. I do regret not buying at the Bay as the return would be complete and paid back in full. I would definitely think twice before making an online purchase through this company.

I was looking to buy a light pendant, same model of an existing one I have.I searched the model number until I found it on Concept Lighting website, where the pictures showed an identical one to the one I have.I decided to order it from them, as they are local (in Oakville) and their website mentioned they have over 40 units of the fixture in stock, so I was expecting a relatively fast delivery.Since I never ordered from them before, I made sure to check the return policy in case I choose to return it for whatever reason.The delivery took way longer than expected and after several follow-ups with their customer service employee who was rarely available to talk to, it got delivered two week after it was ordered (keep in mind it's a stock item as noted on their website, being locally shipped)As soon as I received the fixture, I checked it as recommended by the vendor return policy, but somehow it was not matching the fixture I already have, although it's supposed to be the same model.I called them within one hour after I received the fixture to request a return, and when I finally got a hold of their one and only customer service employee, she told me they wouldn't accept the return unless I agree to ship it back at my own cost, and be charged a 25% restocking fee.I requested to speak to her manager since such return policy is not disclosed on their website but she wouldn't let me speak to him and said she will have him contact me.He e-mailed me later saying sorry

Just recently purchased a floor lamp from Concept lighting and the experience was great. I made several queries and the owner, Don, has been very patient with answering my questions. When I finally decided to place an order, it was Denise who took care of it. She’s amazing. She made sure to follow up and ensure that the delivery took place smoothly. Even Darren, the person who delivered the item was also very personable.I understand that with COVID, people will have to wait (I only waited about 5 weeks for the floor lamp, but for purposes of comparison, I placed an order for a furniture piece from a different company in January and it still has not arrived). Anyhow, I think what makes a company stand out even with the longer wait times is their ability to respond timely, and with transparency to their customers, and just being overall pleasant. 10/10!

I always have a great experience at Concept Lighting Oakville! The manager Denise is personable and helpful. The staff understand my vision for the space and help me find the perfect fixture. The prices are fair. The new website conceptlighting.ca is easily navigable but I prefer to view the fixtures in person. We get so many compliments on them!

Horrendous service. I unfortunately had to deal with this company over the course of 2+ years because a Kuzco floor lamp kept dying after a bout a year or so of use. Concept replaced the original lamp (in Jan 2021) after a period of poor customer service (it wasn't until I posted a review on Google that it was dealt with). The second lamp unfortunately has also stopped working after about 1.5 years and repeated emails have been left unanswered (sent Fall 2022, 2+ months of patiently waiting for a reply). I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt before posting a poor review the first time and even went back and changed my review to a more favourable one after they sent the replacement. For some reason the original review and the whole saga was accidentally deleted; so, at the end of it all, I DO NOT recommend buying online from this company if you care about customer service or warranty.
