Angora Turkish Food Market

Such a lovely store! My dad and I initially came here looking for one specific product, however, we ended up leaving with a variety of different things including some freshly baked Turkish goods that were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back again!

I grew up in this neighbourhood and have seen this convenience store change ownership countless times. I no longer live in the heights but have visited Angora twice in the past 3 years whilst visiting family & friends in the hood.From Skippy’s, to Mini-Mart, to Hasty Market! Whoever would buy into the store would often hang around for 5-10 years and then go on to sell it. Most of the previous owners looked worn out, tired, and miserable.The Turkish lady who now owns this store has turned it around 180° and made it worth while to shop at and visit. Highly recommend the baklava!

We recently visited the food market and was pleasantly surprised by the range of food products available. The market offered a diverse selection of dairy products, meats, baked goods, spices, and condiments. The quality of these items was impressive, and We appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation of each product. The prices were fair, and the customer service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was clean and well-maintained, making for a pleasant shopping experience.Overall, We would recommend this food market to anyone looking for a wide selection of high-quality food products. It is wonderful to have local access to the delicacies of Turkey and it’s neighbouring countries. My go to for teas. Walked in the other day and had hot, fresh out the oven gozleme. I had some in the car :) was soft, warm, flavourful - I had throw potato filled. Part of their new hot counter.The staff are always welcoming and helpful.A must try.

Amazing place to shop at, different variety of products, fresh borek, amazing coffee, also amazing customer service. Would definitely recommend coming here and checking it out.

I went to this clean and bright market looking for Pismaniye, Turkish sweets similar to cotton candy.I was so pleased when I found them just in front of the entryway and in different flavours.The treat is kind of funny because It looks like hair candy, eating them is messy but the taste is so exotic. The plus: vegan can enjoy them too!! I really love them!!

Nice clean place with a variety of grocery items from food to personal hygiene items, (especially love the Turkish cologne and soaps) available here. My new favorite place to shop. Thank you, Fatima!

Market is good and has a wide array of traditional Turkish items.However, items are overpriced.Over priced in terms of price of baklava, pastries and frozen goods etc. Prices should be reduced to be more reasonableNothing is labeled with a price either.
