Gracie's Place

Its basic and cute. Not fancy, great service, friendly people. You have to understand that this is more like a B&B with quirky little things. I enjoyed my stay, couldnt tell you if there was wifi or not, sheets were clean and smelled fantastic. Had a great sleep.

Excellent location with an amazing view. Haida Gwaii is a very unique location and so is Gracie's. Leave all your big city" expectations on the mainland so that when you get here you can enjoy everything in all its uniqueness!"

Lovely spot with incredible views of the sea and islands out front. Impeccably clean and well catered to by the friendly owner. Great value too given location and facilities, including crockery bbq wifi, plus hot showers and shampoos, hairdryers etc. Even had safe storage for our bikes. Would thoroughly recommend!!

Best place ever to stay in Queen Charlotte, Grace is an awesome host, good various arrangements of rooms, some with kitchenettes.

Gracie" is all business. I did not find her inviting or overly welcoming. The accommodations were basic at best. Quaint rooms but not well heated and not worth the cost. Would not recommend.There are also cheaper places to rent a vehicle so I suggest shopping around."

Nice rooms with decent beds, and a great view. Comes with a coffee maker (and coffee), a fridge, a microwave, and a toaster. Not much else to recommend it. There's a stove and oven, but you're not allowed to use them. Cooking must be done on the outdoor barbecue.The owner is clearly comfortable with being one of only a few accomodation options in town, because she almost went out of her way to make us feel unwelcome. A lot of other reviews describe her as friendly and welcoming, so it's possible we just got her on a bad day.

Nice cozy cottage like feel, Ocean views, great service from Gracie. She's humorous and so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small but it fits with the Haida Gwaii feel. The rooms have all the amenities you would expect and some extras. Wine opener, wine glasses, cloths, plates and utensils, flashlight, paper towel, microwave, work desk, comfy cozy beds, clean and odour free. WiFi. Nice decks, covered with flowers, chairs and benches. The property has beautiful gardens and flowers everywhere. There are fridges and there is a BBQ that you can use. The place it a 3min walk to EVERYTHING in Queen Charlotte. I strongly recommend this place.
