Amazing experience! I came in today to pawn my guitar, one of the guys checked it out and let me know it has a tiny bit of warping so he unfortunately couldn’t take it. What I love and haven’t really received anywhere else in Peterborough buy and sell shops is not feeling dumb. Other shops in Peterborough seem to really judge and are just plain rude. This shop had amazing vibes and now I’m already telling everyone I know to check it out haha. I’ll see you guys again soon! Thank you for your kind and amazing service!!

I think it is time to add my own comments now. I have been a customer of FSSS since they opened up on Charlotte Street. I have never had any bad dealings with any of the staff members there. In my most recent experience, I bought a Nintendo Switch Lite, and the battery wasn't too great. However, when I took it back into the shop, they traded it out, even though I was willing to keep it and buy a replacement battery for it. I get everyone has their own experiences when it comes to people, places, and everything else that happens in this world. However, if you only give 1 chance for anything, you will never find out how some people will want to redeem the negativity and offer a more positive outcome.

This shop is the best pawn shop in Ontario.Very trustworthy , and very helpful , I have used a few over the years. But none stand up to these people. When it comes to your personal property you never have to worry. .You can walk away knowing what you left is safe .Very good staff , very well organized business.I travel from Toronto to deal with these people. I've been A Customer of The Swap Shop since they Opened their Doors on Charlotte St. Back a Few Years.I'm a Guitar Player and Musician and sinceThey Have and Have Always Had an Awesome Selection of Guitars and Musical instruments I've Loved to Shop there.They're Very Friendly and Professional. Especially the Owner Stephen ! .And Now After so many years of Being a Customer.I was thinking how it's Incredibly Admirable on their Part to Have Served and Helped so so many many low income people with LOANS and AFFORDABLE items they might not be able to Afford Brand New !They're Very Compassionate and Generous in that Respect.But did i mention .That All the Employees are really Friendly and Professional. And Have Always Been Helpful and Respectful in Every Way.That's Been My Experience with theFirst Stop Swap Shop"for All the years I've had Dealings with them.I LOVE the SWAP SHOP !"
