Pointless waste of time. Wouldn’t it be better to save on the huge wages of these committee members and put the cash in to streamlining the entire building permit process? Why make people wait months only to be asked about what materials will be used and then say yes to just about everything anyway?!? People wonder why there is a housing crisis in this City! Haha. Toronto City Council is a shambles. Archaic, slow and a colossal waste of money.

Staff is very helpful

to the person who says committee works for builders.if you think inappropriate things are going on and have proof, contact the city's integrity commissioner or the police and ask them to investigate.if not, then dont make accusations without proof
