Not happy with my experience at allI came to this location bc it was a gift for mothers dad and was really looking to just relax and enjoy. Instead she tried to upsell me to get a more expensive facial based on my skin while I was laying there. I turned this down and so she continued to say over and over again how dry my skin was .. it’s ok to tell me that but to say it so many times was truly so disheartening when I already understood the 1st 5 times she said it that my skin is dry. When she went in for the black heads she let me know that if I had just upgraded it would not be that painful … finally she asked me what my skin care process is at home and I told her it was simple process.. she answered with “are you trying to kill your skin?” Which again is not what I came for and let’s face it this women is not a dermatologist and has no place outlining what I should be doingJust such a disappointment and I will not be returning. Made me feel worse about mysel leaving than when I came in just in the hopes that I would feel so bad about myself that I would buy something from her to repair it

Had a wonderful experience at Pure & Simple Yorkville. I booked in for an IPL facial with Elena, and she was amazing! They give you the full spa experience with a heated bed and relaxing music. She gave me some really great advice on what my skin needed, but I never felt pressured to buy any of their products. After my laser and extractions, I expected to leave red and puffy but the mask and serums she put on afterward took down any redness and I left with glowing skin and feeling refreshed. I cannot recommend highly enough!

I've seen Vera monthly at this location for 3 months so far. I enjoy our talks and her recommendations for my dry skin. 3 out of 4 products recommended are now officially part of my daily skincare routine. My dry skin thoroughly enjoys the Pure + Simple Collagen Elastin, the Holistic Vanity Redness Relief, and Naturopathica Calendula Essential Hydrating Cream. I previously was a Skinceuticals girl, but these products are working much better and are at a better price point.When visiting, I get the Super Hydrating Facial. This costs $115 for an hr facial. The facial consists of cleansing, steaming, extractions, mask, oxygen, and skincare. I'm looking forward to my next service.

After trial and error with many different aestheticians to help address my issues with cystic acne and scarring, Nahid was the first one to offer a treatment plan (facials + microneedling) that works. Her knowledge and decades of experience helped gain my trust — she was able to break down my treatments and educate me on how my skin works. Not to mention that she’s given some of the most thorough extractions I’ve experienced to date. Nahid is like the auntie I’ve never had: caring, empathetic, yet direct and honest about what my skin needs.

I’ve been going to Pure and Simple for years and aways received great service and good results however, I’m really disappointed with my most recent treatment with Nahid for the deep cleaning treatment. I went to a professional so I that I don’t get scars but the way she did the extractions I’m left with a lot of scars. I’m really disappointed with that and I would never go back again.

I’ve been going to Pure and Simple Yorkville location for the past 3 years. During all these years, I’ve been going to esthetician Elena, and she is THE BEST. She is always nice, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Elena knows what kind of facials are the best for you when you come to the appointment with her. I also like that she always gives the samples of recommended products before you make the decision to buy them. Elena transformed my skin drastically, and I cannot be more grateful!
