Based on the lack of anyone returning your call, this doesn't seem like a very helpful organization. Perhaps a visit to the MLA would help.

Be careful about this place. Even when your place is tidy they said it's dirty. While one is fighting with you another is secretly taking photos of 2 or 3 places that were missed eg on my coffee table was a bit of fuzz which they said was part of being dirty, a small area not even enough to really see was overlooked while vacuuming due to a scooter being there. They even brought a pest control person qith them to check for cockroaches etc to use at the office of the Rentalsman. None were found. Regina Housing had the nerve of having one staff fighting with you while another had her back to you taking photos with her cellphone. This is illegal according to the Rentalsmens Office.I would like to add before I ever moved they sent me a letter saying they gave me a itemized list and cost of what they would be doing once I left. The total cost was rather high plus they were keeping the damage deposit. I moved on the weekend and went back on Monday with 4 people to clean and found regina housing had already cleaned the apartment. They entered the place without proper notice while I was still a legal tenant.

I did census at the downtown location. Rent is usually tied to income. The units downtown are very nice and have a great view of Victoria park. There needs to be more places like this in Regina!

Very not polite workers on the phone

How can this place stay in business? One tenant got a 4 day eviction notice taped to her apartment door, while another got one handed to her in front of other tenants. The reason there was pure lies with proof of it was. Now they evicted a disabled man with two children claiming he's behind on rent. Bologna sandwiches. I'm assuming he's on SAID, part of social services who has a agreement with Regina housing on rent. They will even send the rent money to the landlord. They will lie about you without a second thought. Their lies are believed over the truth 99%of the time. They seldom give you your damage deposit back. In fact I've never heard them doing it with the few people I know who rented from them. They seem to choose certain people to disrespect, lie., and don't care if the stress they cause effects the tenants. There are three people in Regina Housing that do it that I'm aware of.

The new and renovated units are great! But their policies could really use a good reevaluating, makes it hard on single parent families like myself when they force you to pay rent according to income your not actually receiving.
