Purolator

I wished I can give them 5 stars review. The driver couldn’t delivery the package to my at 10:26am this morning when we were open with a full building of people. Then I got a text message that I have to pick it up at the store on W Pender St. in the afternoon. What a waste of my time. They asked me for proof of name and address, like paystub. I don’t have a driver license with my work address, and my paystub is from my head office in Alberta. I am already frustrated that I have pick it up after work already. If the driver can delivery the package in the morning, I wouldn’t be so upset. There is no good global delivery company out there anymore.

Nice and quick service. The staff is super friendly.If you return Amazon packages and it gives you a Purolator QR code…Apparently this is the only location in Vancouver that takes this type of return.All you need to do is use the machine at this location, scam QR and drop off label and the item, you’re done.Hope this helps.

Purolator is by far the most incompetent delivery service. Why I am forced to use this conspiracy to deliver products from amazon I don’t understand. But it will prevent me from doing so in the future. They attempted to deliver my package to the wrong address Friday. I confirmed and resubmitted my address Sunday. It is now Thursday and I have no indication on when my product will arrive. This is a big and expensive item and I need to be home to receive it. It is very frustrating that after being told by customer service my package would arrive the next day, that I wake up to see an address correction is required. I can not even pick up my package on site because they need to update the address first. This is ridiculous. What a horrible delivery company.

Gave 1 star cause there is not a 0 star, never seen a worse service than this. Missed delivery first day; driver didnt even stop and claimed to have come on the 2nd day, never called me but claims to miss buzzcode. Their phone number has so low voice that it cannot even be heard, and their online customer service is slow and doesnt repond you until after 3 minutes. Their customer service told me the driver can choose to not call the customer, and it takes 2 days to update the new info to the driver, which means the next day the driver will attempt a completely useless delivery and wasting an attempt on purpose. Never seen such dirty service before. Thought UPS is bad enough until I used this one!

If there was an option for zero star I would have picked it, this is the most incompetent company / delivery service I have encountered so far. Even when you pay huge delivery fees for items, we still ended up (twice now) going ourselves to pick them up, it is unacceptable, the service is terrible and the company shouldn't be allowed to exist with the current services it provides. Please contact the retailers and urge them to do their business with UPS or Fedex, they have a much better service!!

A very decent company in the shipping/ receiving business. Hey, we all have had our opinions on which one is the better for logistics and I'm not going there in this review. What I will say is that certainly I have nothing to put me in negative mind about Purolator. Not once have I had a reason to doubt the abilities of this Company in bringing me packages or sending my packages out, never. I like this business staff know what's going on here and treat their customers with respect, from my experience. Need something shipped in a hurry, send it thru Purolator, you couldn't be happier. Locaction is a bit difficult to park at but is certainly at each block and there is pay parking underground nearby and I believe several spots to choose from. Whether it's business or personal parcel let Purolator take the stress from getting your package delivered on time.

Package was scheduled for delivery yesterday, I was in my apartment all day as I work from home and the buzzer never rang to let a delivery in; assumed it had been delayed until the next day. Went outside at 7pm for a walk and saw a Purolator notice had been left on the front door of my building stating that delivery had been attempted at 4pm and I would now have to collect from their office on West Pender. How was delivery attempted when I was given no text or notice that the deliverer was outside? They never rang the apartment or attempted to contact me, I’m on the 7th floor, I can’t possibly know that there is a delivery outside if they do not attempt to at least ring the apartment? Despicable service, why bother paying for delivery if I have to now go collect it myself? Will not be ordering from online retailers that use Purolator as their courier in future.

The absolute worst service ever. I have never wasted so much time. Twice now I have waited home for the package and they don’t even ring my buzzer and just leave the slip (I know because I found the slip almost immediately after they put it on my door), only for the pickup location to be 30 minutes away, in a different city, and completely inaccessible from transit. When I tried to call and have the package relocated to closer to my house the wait time is over 30 minutes. If I could give zero stars I would.

Horrible company. I've had nothing but problems any time I've ever ordered something through them. Other companies: Canada Post, Amazon, UPS, no problem. They either leave it at my condo door or buzz me to be let in. Not Purolator. They did not call or buzz when my air conditioner arrived at the front lobby, even though I gave them both numbers. Instead they took it back to Richmond and said that if I wanted it I needed to drive to Richmond! When I finally got through to support after ONE HOUR of waiting, they told me that they had the wrong number and said they'd ship it again. When it didn't arrive in the 48 hour window they said it would, I called again--they said now they WOULDN'T ship it. I either had to drive 30+ minutes to pick it up or they would ship it back to Quebec. Unbelievable. I'll note that I also stayed home to receive all the shipments that didn't arrive. So I was personally inconvenienced. With tens of thousands of people living in condos in Vancouver, Purolator is a standout as an archaic company that does not put its customers first or update their practices for the way that a majority of people actually live. I'll never buy from a company that uses only Purolator for delivery again. Condo dwellers, consider yourselves warned.
