Spankys is so fun with friends. I went there in 2018 and 2019 but wasnt feeling it but since 2022 summer, me and my three gfs regularly attend every thursday night with Lucas as our bartender. We love Lucas for making a small place welcoming to visit weekly and feel comfortable to sing. Im a bartender and i see lukas always scanning. 5pts

Usually I really enjoy going to Spankys. It is a second home to me. This evening, however, was a mess. I was cut off after having two drinks in a period of more than 2 hours. My bartender agreed that I shouldn't have been cut off as she was ringing me up but said that the bouncers asserted I was cut off. I spoke with the bouncers and they proceeded to say a guy said he saw you stumble earlier". There was no basis for the claim that was made and at no point would any of the staff listen to me. As I was leaving (alone) I was not asked if I needed any assistance going home or if I would be ok. If I was "stumbling" and needed to be cut off it would only make sense that they made sure I was ok. I was not offered or given my receipt either. I regret not saying anything and leaving. I'm super bummed out and I don't think I'll be able to feel welcome again. I wrote this message just after leaving. Tell me if y'all think I seem drunk as I write this."

I LOVE this place. My bestfriend and I where out and about having a good day and decided to end it with a drink and some food. Let me tell you this place is where its at. Super friendly! and they don't forget about you! we got there and in less then 30 seconds we where greeted and had our drinks. We only met a few of the staff but the rest looked just as nice. The beer is super good as well. The place is VERY clean. One name I remember is Carl, he was very attentive!

Their “security” is not licensed and thus, not actual security/bouncers. They have no more authority to touch you then the bartender does. Legally, you don’t have to show them your ID, only the bartender. They are not real security and legally can’t claim they are. They also don’t have the authority to cut you off as none of them likely have their SmartServe. Again, that’s up to the bartender alone.When the ministry inspector inevitably comes and none of their security staff have the proper licensing, they are looking at about $3,000 fine per person and anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000 fine for the establishment.

The night started out great but i don't know if our server/bartender was drunk or what. She was being so hostile to the point our female designed driver felt unsafe like the bartender was going to be physical. Real unfortunate for a place that use to say Be Nice or Go Home" might be time for the bartender to chug a few waters and go home."

Love the atmosphere and the staff. I always have a great time. This place is great for those who like to go out but don't want to go to a club. This bar sets the right tone and the drinks are well priced for a fantastic evening.

Been there before had great times but since a year now I have not gone but few weeks ago I went had 4 beers and all of a sudden the owner was like nope sorry" aswell ride to me infront of other people making me feel embarrassed as well was not drunk nor tipsy but left the bar to spend my money somewhere else.No really a classy or cool casual pub or place or whatever you call it lost a customer oh well people come and go. Nice knowing you spankys cheers have a good 2021"
