Balmoral Hotel
Cute hotel, rooms come with either a double, Queen or king sized bed with a beside table, TV, two little drawers under the TV, a washroom with a shower, blow dryer and mini soaps. Each room has its own washroom. Very clean and had heaters and a ceiling fan so we were never too cold or hot. Not very spacious but overall a good hotel, pet friendly and the owner is super sweet.

Balmoral Hotel
I was recently hired by the hotel to come up and do some handyman work. As I came for the week it only made sence to stay there as well. While I was there, the rooms where very clean and had everything I needed. The staff and owner where super friendly and helpful. While I stayed there I had a few meals and the food was fantastic. All in all great experience, After my experience I'm definitely planning a weekend there for a holiday and explore the area.

The steps entering and exiting are very steep, narrow and there is only 1 handrail. I have personally fallen on the steps twice in the last 3 months. I reported this to management but my name was never taken. I was told to use the handrail, which I did. The steps are always at least partly covered with ice and snow and there is significant snow and ice build-up at the bottom of the steps.In terms of the food they finally have gluten-free buns for their burgers for an additional $3 so it expands the menu options if you are gluten-free.

The food at the Balmoral is INCREDIBLE!! We can't wait to go back. I had the pulled duck tacos and the presentation was beautiful and the portion size was great!

Went here for dinner. Nice cozy place. Food are of decent quality. The waitresses were super friendly and helpful.

We booked really last minute and the booking was really easy! The room was cozy and warm, not a bed bug in site. There was stubble from a previous guest on the bathroom sink but other than that very clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our deep and delicious cake fit in the mini fridge freezer.

Stopped in for supper while returning from Peterborough. Food was very good well above above average. Pork chops were some of the best I ever had in a restaurant.Mar 3 food still very good. Potato truffle soup was excellent.

Stayed here when we did a snowmobile trip around Algonquin park, Rooms are cozy and they have what we thought were very comfortable beds.The people were awesome, and the food and drinks were fantastic!!

Balmoral Hotel
Rooms were clean and cozy. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and let me say the food was out of this world the applewood burger was the best burger I have ever had by far, and the fish tacos were also fantastic. Hats off to the chef and the rest of the staff at the Balmoral. Hope to see you guys again soon!
