For our COVID-19 wedding, Rain was a good fit, not only because of how personable she was with our guests, and throughout the entire day, but because of the price point. It's hard to justify spending a large portion of your budget when you are hosting 20-30 people. With a lower price, comes concessions and I'll briefly break it down for you.1. Personality - I spoke to her arguably almost more than my new husband that day. It's sooo important that you get along with your photographer, and that they are easy going because they are going to be talking to all of your guests, and making sure everyone is in a co-operative mood the entire day. She was professional, polite, and had a huge smile the entire day! It was an absolute joy having her with us!2. Candid Style of Photography - Rain captured so many moments that were so quick. I was so surprised when we got our photos back! Elbow bumping with a guest, or admiring my nieces dress. She was quick, constantly on the lookout, and super hardworking - even during dinner! There were so many wonderful candid moments that she got from all of us and our guests, and I love that! Especially considering the small gathering, it was super important to us to capture those, and we are both so grateful!3. Punctuality - Because of my makeup artist, we ended up behind schedule for first look, but Rain made the most of it, and played it off very skillfully as to not stress me out. She showed up to start the day right on time, and made the most of every moment she had to get extra shots in between small events. She kept us on time, and was hard working throughout the entire day! Aside from dinner for a quick few bites, I really don't think she sat down the entire day!4. Attention to Details - Unfortunately, this was a BIG one for formal shots. In bridal party shots, there was little to no direction, lots of sunglasses, people not paying attention, and tons of lopsided shots where people weren't spaced out well. We really didn't get a single good shot of the entire wedding party or bride & groom. And with the exception of one or two photos the entire day - my dress was shoved at the back and looked terrible for every single family photo. There was also little to no editing done after the fact. While I understand it takes time to process and retouch and prepare files for delivery, I found myself wondering what was done in the month of waiting aside from her schedule opening up.5. Black & White Photos - We kept finding that all our favourite photos were in B&W. And these were often at pivotal moments in the day; Husband & Wife Annoucement in the church, walking down the aisle, His & Her Formal Photo, First Dance, etc. So we asked Rain if she could provide the color for those shots, as she promised to provide us with all the photos for the entire day. We were told that they were taken in B&W mode directly from her camera..... With a background in Advertising, I understand the extremely simple process of changing a photo from Color to B&W. I also understand the potential limitations for storage space on a camera when you have a full day of capturing to contend with. I'm terribly sorry, but this is inexcusable. If you don't have enough space, bring an extra memory card. I honestly cannot figure out why else you would do this.In summary, Rain was a wonderful addition to our special day and she was full of genuine happiness for us and worked hard. If we had known what we know now in seeing the final product, unfortunately we would have spent the extra money on another photographer. But I don't think that is a bad thing. Getting married and planning something this big gives you a skill set you'll hopefully never have to use again. For us, it helped us realize that although her candid photography style is lovely, it wasn't what we were looking for from our wedding photos. If formal photos aren't important to you, and you are just looking for some great candids, she would be a perfect fit!

I am so happy we chose to hire Blink Photography for our event.I needed a custom package for our daughters' baptism and Rain was super accommodating and very quick in her responses.Not only is her work, dedication and talent impeccable, but the big win for us was her amazing personality.She was super friendly even when our original plans changed due to COVID and at the event she made sure we had all of the photos we discussed previously. She went above and beyond and the photos turned out way better than what I would of imagined.I am looking forward to working with Rain again in the future.Cannot recommend BLINK photography enough!!!Thanks for all of your hard work and professionalism Rain:)

We had family photos done for my mom's 65th birthday. Not only was rain very professional, she provided a great session at a very reasonable price. We were very impressed with the shots she took and look forward to the photos!

Rain is an amazing photographer. She captured every perfect moment with beauty. She was professional and guided us the whole way. She never treated me like a client, she treated me like a friend. Our wedding day pictures turned out beautifully. I am over the moon with her work. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone! Rain is definitely the best in the game.I can’t even begin to explain the experience that we had with blink photography. Right from the get go they were friendly and professional willing to listen to exactly what we are looking for for our wedding day. Blink photography acted more like Family helping family opposed to a business transaction.Willing to answer every single question that I had regarding my wedding even if it had nothing to do with photography they were always willing to give recommendations and help us out in every way shape or form. Rain was not only her photographer that day but help with literally everything. Per fixing my hair fluffing at my dress making sure there was nothing in my teeth she literally did it all. I broke a nail before walking down the aisle and believe it or not rain had nail glue in her pocket. When I say this company does it all they literally do it all!I don’t even know what my experience would have been if I were to have picked a different photography company. Do yourself a favour and pick blink.

Blink photography was so accommodating with how many times we had to change our photography date due to covid.We got our photos so quick after the photoshoot. She was so fun to work with. Rain is the absolute best photographer in windsor essex! Any occasion or circumstance she always makes the best of it and her photos speak for themselves! They are absolute beautiful!
