Jay is amazing. She is professional and totally on the ball. Helped us plan our wedding which we started planning before covid hit. She was still able to deliver on everything we wanted for our special day. She made the process as smooth as possible and took away all the stress that comes with planning. Jay was also able to handle our parents in a respectable manner. Indian/punjabi parents are the hardest to control and she is so amazing on how to talk to them and was able to make sure they understood what and why we wanted what we wanted. Always had a solution for a problem. She doesn't just plan your event. She goes above and beyond when it comes to handling family politics and drama that is bound to come with a wedding.

Sunrise events planned my 25th birthday and wow was I impressed! She worked within my budget and had great ideas!! Jay herself has a great vibe and loves what she does and her work honestly shows it!!

I am disappointed with my experience with Sunrise Events. I had hired Jay for my wedding which was set to take place this summer based on some interactions with her during my brother’s wedding. At this wedding, Jay seemed very organized and people oriented and after contacting previous clients of hers for reference checks, I hired her.My wedding was unfortunately cancelled and I notified Jay of this right away. She offered her help to me during this stressful time; however soon after, Jay became very hard to get a hold of. If I contacted her, she wouldn’t reply to me for weeks when all I was looking for was an update on vendor deposits etc. I now haven’t heard from Jay since January 1st despite having messaged her countless times.In September, when I notified Jay that my wedding was cancelled, she repeatedly offered her help. At that time, if she was going to be unable to help me, she could have easily conveyed that she would have to end our contract and that she was no longer able to help me and I would have respected that. Instead, she repeatedly offered her help and then disappeared. It has been a very difficult few months and trying to get a hold of my event planner should not have been on my to do list.

Jay is a very sweet young lady. She is extremely talented. I have watched her work from the beginning of her career and blossom into what she does best. Weddings are very hard work, and dealing with Indian community is even harder.I wanted to share my experience with her. She has gone above and beyond for clients. She is always available and ready to do whatever it takes to make the event a success. She will even do duties that are not part of her job description.I have seen some rude behavior towards her and she has smiled and just walked away. She has the utmost kindness towards every person she encounters.I wish her the best success, she is definitely a one woman army and deserves a major pat on the back.

Jay is just so lovely. She is such a nice person with a heart of gold and really cares about her clients and their wedding events. I can’t imagine not having her there for me during my big Punjabi wedding week. She is really knowledgeable and helps out any way she can. She can direct people politely and efficiently. She got along so well with my family and was really reliable.If you have a crazy wedding coming up or need help planning one this is your girl. She is a Canadian female entrepreneur who is dedicated to her business and her clients and knows the industry and vendors. I would be happy to recommend her to anyone.

Jay and her team at Sunrise are unbelievably good at what they do. Do not hesitate in hiring them for your big events. I had a couple unique venues for my wedding week and Jay was able to turn the events into huge successes despite some major issues we encountered on the day of for each event. Needless to say, she is a life saver. Jay made our wedding week exactly what I envisioned and more.Jay’s ability to deal with any problems that arise (small or large) without panicking is incredible. She takes care of any situation that comes her way without involving the client. Also, she goes above and beyond to make events even more fun. We hired Jay to plan our reception party this April. She was extremely easy to communicate with, very reliable and executed everything seamlessly. Jay is very personable and was very accommodating to any last minute changes. We would definitely recommend her to all our friends and family. We had a small jaggo and a medium sized wedding and reception and she completely understood what our views were.We wanted a Indian-western traditional wedding and she made the vision come to life. Our wedding day she managed to make sure everyone was on time and the wedding was done before.1130am. The reception, we wsnted a relaxed theme and omg we didn't even have to think twice about asking her if our guests were taken care of, or if the music was working or not.
