The Waterfront Banquet & Conference Centre

We got married at the Waterfront and it was the perfect day!! We are so thankful to Claire, Mike, and the entire team for being so supportive leading up to our big day. When we booked the venue last year, we were so impressed by the beautiful lake view and menu options. Seeing it come together on our wedding day was incredible. The decor was stunning and the food was outstanding. The service and timing of the evening was very smooth. The late night station was a huge hit - our guests absolutely loved it. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more!!! We are forever grateful to the entire team at the Waterfront Centre. We highly recommend this wedding venue :)

We had a wonderful experience with the waterfront!!! We started our planning with Mike and Eduvina, who were both very helpful and responsive. The whole process is so easy and straightforward. The meetings we had were very useful and helped with planning. Ashlie took over for Edu but the transition was seamless, she knew all about our previous planning was just as nice to work with. On the day of, everything ran so smoothly and we had such a great time. Everything looked beautiful and the decor and set-up was stunning. The food was absolutely amazing! Our friends and family are still talking about it! The team was so great! Ashlie got us all set up and Mike, Claire and the rest of the staff took care of us all night! It was such a great time and we are so thankful we had our wedding at the Waterfront Centre!

My husband and I got married at the Waterfront Banquet Centre in September. This venue was SO easy to work with, they were well organized and offer so many extras to take the stress out of planning! Mike and his team are amazing, the moment we met him we felt like family, he made us so comfortable and he was very trustworthy (unlike some other venues where we are treated as just a number).The food was amazing! Our guests raved on how fantastic and warm the food was! We went with the Steakhouse package and were not disappointed! The abundance and quality of food offered at the late night buffet was another thing guests were raving about, SO GOOD!The venue itself it stunning with views of the Hamilton waterfront. We had around 175 guests and it never felt cramped, it was the perfect amount of space! The decor they offer was fabulous and made it so much easier for end of the night clean up.Eduvina and Ashlie helped plan our wedding and Claire and Mike were there throughout the night making sure everything was under control and on time. They all did a fabulous job!!The bartenders did an amazing job keeping up with the number of people we had, there was never a long line - something we were concerned about from other weddings we have been to. If there was a longer line, Mike would run behind the bar to help catch up!I would recommended this venue to anyone! The level of stress alleviated by their all inclusive approach was amazing!

We had our wedding reception here at the end of August. It exceeded all expectations. Eduvina was so accommodating and had great suggestions regarding decor and the flow of the night's events. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff was professional and polite. All the little extras that went above beyond were greatly appreciated. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate. It was a beautiful venue at a great location with stellar staff.

I went for my friends wedding... view was amazing just beyond Beautiful. Food was so so, my meat has lots of fat and stringy (seemed cheap) and the drinks were super diluted so pure sugar, but I had an amazing time at the wedding and the space is nice

Absolutely love the food and service here, I photograph weddings often for it's prime and under-rated location. This place around sunset is heaven, wedding photos always look so perfect. They recently (maybe a couple of years ago) changed the dance floor in the main room and it looks really nice. The food is always amazing and right on time.

We celebrated my wedding at the Waterfront this past weekend and our day was absolutely amazing! Mike and Ashlie were a pleasure to work with right from day one and were so accommodating, detail oriented and dedicated to making sure our day was nothing short of perfect. We had our wedding on July 16th 2022 at the waterfront banquet and here is our thorough and honest review.Mike and his team are EXCEPTIONAL. There is really no other word besides that one. From top to bottom, my event was taken care of. If you are looking for somewhere to have your event, this is the place. Mike and the team encapsulate old school morals and work ethic with modern day food, decor, setting and honestly, you will never have a better day.Planning a wedding through covid was no joke, but the waterfront went with the ebbs and flows melodically and really rose to the challenge!The hall has competitive and incredible packages for all visions. We chose the steakhouse package and was not disappointed. Excellent selection of dishes to please all, but on top of this, the quality of the food was superb. After speaking with the chefs of the waterfront, it is clear that they are passionate about what they do and it really comes out in their work. It is hard to do a steak for 200 people, but all we heard all night and for weeks after was how delicious, flavourful, and buttery the steaks were. The food was fresh and presented beautifully. Food is so important at a European wedding and they KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK.We also had multiple requests and alterations which were accommodated with open arms. For our signature drinks, Mike facilitated that the kitchen make homemade lavender syrup and I couldn’t believe the LENGTHS he went to to make sure our day was our dream. These are things we will never forget.The midnight buffet was something else. In a separate room, you are provided with a luxury experience full of live stations, passed snacks, and another hot ticket section of your event. Do not skip out on the incredible midnight buffet this hall puts on! I had people coming up to me just to tell me how incredible of a time they were having.The hall itself is gorgeously updated and renovated with a classic elegance. The main feature being the stunning waterfront window itself. During sunset, guests get an incredible panoramic view of the lake and golden hour fills the room, transforming your event into a classy dinner on the water. This is what ultimately sold us on the hall as a bonus. It was a magical moment!I could type all day about how amazing this place is, but ultimately, its the staff that make it incredible. You can tell Mike the owner is well loved by his crew and that they are all on the same page as a cohesive team, which makes every event incredible. We were approached a few times throughout the night to make sure everything was going to expectations and being checked in on, and we really appreciated this. The serving staff are absolutely knowledgable and classy. They were attentive and excellent. The bartending staff were fun and inviting and never had a line to catch up with. The chefs were superb. Every person in this building is a curated professional.Our coordinator had to be swapped mid way through wedding planning (no fault of ours or the halls) and they made the transition seamless and way less frightening than we anticipated. Thank you so much Ashlie for your patience and understanding our vision! The day of coordinator, Claire, was absolutely a doll too making sure everything was excellent throughout the night.Even pickup was a breeze. They suggested we picked up our extra things the following Monday so we didnt feel panicked or rushed the night of. This was a smooth convenience I am thankful for.We have been on cloud 9 since July and honestly, a big part of that was because of this hall. I could relive that day every day if I could. Thank you so much waterfront banquet. You have our word of mouth and our memories forever!!!!!!

We celebrated my daughter's wedding here this past weekend, it was an amazing experience and all of our guests had nothing but good comments about the venue, the food and the staff. Mike and Ashley were very helpful and worked with us to ensure that it was a great time for everyone.

We got married at the Waterfront and we were blown away with the amazing quality of the food and their phenomenal service. They source their products locally and all of our guests loved the food. The view of the pier is stunning. Mike and the team helped as plan a phenomenal day. We are incredibly grateful for their work and dedication.
