Chase on the Lake

Watch your bills people. We had 3 rooms for this weekend and all 3 of them were billed incorrectly. When we questioned why we were billed $50 over what the original quote was they said it was extra resort fees. They wouldn't refund us. Our friend was also over charged for one of his rooms and another was billed on his credit card 3 days before we were even there. We have stayed there many times and used the spa a couple times and have always recommended them to friends and family. No longer will that happen. We had 10 meals and drinks at the restaurant between all of us. Supper meal wasn't the greatest and drinks were ok, breakfast bar was good as always. To rate this individually on a scale 1-5 with 1 being bad, I would say hotel staff at check in 5, room 4, restaurant staff 5, hotel check out staff 2.5, pricing 1

We love Walker but the chase is starting to show its age. The furniture in our king suite" was very worn

We had a wonderful stay at the Chase on the Lake recently. The staff were wonderful and so nice. Our room was great (stayed in a condo off the lake). Great place to go with kids. There is a beach, pool, and cute little town. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a king suite with ocean view for a week and we did not get the room as advertised … we received trash can view and bed was uncomfortable there was slow draining water and left over food underneath bed and pillows were flat and guide didn’t work on remote for tv . The AC didn’t work in the main room. Key cards didn’t work . And found a bug in the bathroomAnd they say free breakfast it just fruit and cereal to bring with you some hot food would’ve been niceHotel main desk staff were nice . And we had best food at 502 restaurant.

It’s was a good experience, but we went during the winter and there was not much to do (go during the summer) room was smaller than expected but still very nice. They don’t have free grab and go breakfast on the weekends (pretty sad) and their hot breakfast was also not that great. The town is nice but very small and pretty limited. There wasn’t much to do on the resort during the winter, I hope they fix that. Make the most out of your trip and go during the warm seasons

Rooms are a bit dated but still decent. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite. Was very nice having a full kitchen and appliances. The beds were also decent. Was nice to have a long sized bed. Had a patio that was a partial view of the lake and loved it. Excellent location next to the lake but less than a block from all the shops. Only complaint is not even the resorts fault, but some of the guests were not kind. Also, Another guest down the hall from us left their dog in their room and he barked/cried for hours!Overall I would absolutely recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.

Fun place to stay! Room was very nice size with a wonderful view. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Pool was warm but hot tubs were out of service and sauna has been broken for years with no hopes of it coming back (bummer). Bar/restaurant had really good food, fun staff, and a good selection of drinks.

We were a group of 4 women that stayed in Walker for the weekend. We stayed at Chase in the 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. It was a great place to have a getaway. The condo was roomy and had an amazing screened in deck with another deck off that. Unfortunately the weather was cold and rainy/snowy so we didn't get to use it much.The accommodations were great except for a few things. This room in particular needs some maintenance. The bathroom sinks didn't drain well, the kitchen faucet was loose and leaked a lot. The beds did not have mattress pads. I found that odd. Maybe a post covid thing? So the fitted sheet worked loose a bit and then you would be directly on the mattress.Also a big thing...If you are planning on someone sleeping on the pullout sofa...the mattress was horrible and needed replacement. Maybe children that can sleep anywhere would be ok but not adults!! Not if you actually want to sleep! And the bedding provided for the pull out sleeper was a top sheet, no fitted sheet or mattress pad.We enjoyed our stay and didn't let these things ruin our time there. If it wasn't for these things I would have gave it 5 stars for everything. It is a cool place to stay and walking distance to everything.Also, the hot tub was a wonderful way to warm up after walking in the cold that day.We will definitely return but hope the rooms are fixed up a little better by then. It is a difficult time right now to find enough staff to keep up with everything and we understand that.

What a resort for a relaxing vacation on the lake! We’ve been to the restaurant for a drink and app on our day trips to Walker and decided to make Chase our destination for our recent 3day getaway. We had a balcony room and the views were amazing! Sitting out on our balcony with a cold drink I could feel the stress leaving my body. The walleye dinner at the restaurant was simply AWESOME! All staff were top notch. All this and only a block and a half from downtown Walker. We’ll be back!
