Such a wonderful experience! Having moved to a new area, I was understandably nervous about finding a vet for my young beagle! I am so glad I chose Presque Isle Animal Hospital! This place is personable and affordable, you also won't be waiting long to be seen! The facility is clean and modern! This was a low stress experience for my pet! Also a bonus that they have doggie daycare and boarding! Absolutely love this place!

Presque Isle Animal Hospital has been my trusted partner in the care of my dogs for over 40 years. My dogs have received excellent care in a timely manner. Top-down or bottom- up the staff is always the same—excellent and very caring. There has never been a question of who will take care of my dogs. There’s only one place for them—Presque Isle Animal Hospital.

This hospital is incredible. An amazing team of skilled doctors and warm receptionists. They get me in as quickly as they can if I have an issue with one of my dogs. Very happy with their services!

I am a traveling healthcare worker here in Presque Isle and recently got a puppy. Even before getting the puppy, I reached out to this vet about making an appointment for her 12 week vaccinations and a new puppy exam. In order to be (possibly) taken as a new client, I was asked to email my prior vet records for every pet in my household and then they would review the information and let me know IF they’d accept me as a new client. I did that and waited over a week… no response via email, so I called. I was told that the staff member who reviews new client info wasn’t in the office but that they’d leave a message for her about my call. I waited a few more days and called back again. She again was not available to take my call. I was told I might have to wait another 2-3 weeks before hearing back. Keep in mind, not about making an appointment but just to find out if they’d be willing to see my new puppy!As a healthcare worker, I completely understand about lengthy wait times for appointments, which is why I reached out to them well in advance of needing the actual appointment. I just wanted to ensure that my puppy received the necessary vaccinations to keep her healthy as a young, vulnerable pup. I explained to them multiple times that I would be a very short term client since I’m only in the area for a few months.My 1 star review is for their lack of professionalism and their absolutely ridiculous and ineffective new client process. It should not take a month or more to hear back about whether or not you’ll be accepted as a client. And I do hope that instead of replying defensively to my review, as they did with many other negative reviews, they welcome the feedback and take the initiative to improve their new client process and communicate more efficiently and compassionately.

Hands down the nicest vet and techs I've ever dealt with. Thank you for caring so much about my grumpy old boy... well worth the wait to get in here..

Hands down the best veterinarian practices the county has to offer! All staff are professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and accommodating to all our my pets annual and emergency needs. Both pups and four ferrets give all paws up!

We had are first visit Monday February 20, 2023. The vet was super sweet to Kally and her assistant Kyle was awesome with Kally. Very caring vet and assistant. The woman at the front desk that took care of us is very good at her job.. friendly and outgoing.

Excellent practice with wonderful staff. Everyone is kind, caring, and compassionate. They are all so wonderful with my dog. I feel he gets the very best care. I recently had an emergency and I am so grateful for their expertise. They saved Tony's life. Highly recommend. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Best place ever to bring your pets.
