The doctors are overall great people. It's a shame that they have to work in a lacklustre system that fails to communicate basic info from practitioner to reception to patient. The front desk's overall attitude wasn't particularly courteous either. I would personally say that there are better options with both functional and friendly administrations, and capable practitioners.

The GP is very professional and patient! But the receptionist is extremely rude! If you are not speaking Cantonese, she will tell you what you want to done for the tests are unnecessary and gov will fine you …

I've been coming to this clinic since I moved to Richmond in 2000 so I know the wait times are always long. The receptionists were never friendly, but they were never rude either until yesterday. I walked into the clinic and stood there waiting for her to finish chatting with her co-worker for a good minute. When she finally looked at to me (she didn't even greet me), I told her (in Cantonese) that I would like to make an appointment. She just pointed at a sign which was all in Chinese (which I cannot read) and went back to chatting. The fact that the sign was all in Chinese was not the issue. I told her I cannot read Chinese, then she finally spoke. Instead of nicely telling me the morning is entirely booked and that they will not be taking in any appointments until 2 pm so I need to wait outside until then, the way she said it was rude and unprofessional (on top of that, she even glared at me). This is the first time I've actually been treated so poorly at this clinic (I don't know if it's racism because this is also the first time I've been in there with my boyfriend who is darker skinned). Regardless of the reason for the rude service, if I don't feel welcomed when I walk in, I'm going to take my business elsewhere.

My family switched our family doctor to Dr. Benjamin Chou because of his wonderful medical know-how and service. He listens well to his patient’s concerns which is rare to find from doctors nowadays. He is polite, extremely knowledgeable and professional. His commitment to his patients are amazing. He calls the patient even after clinic hours whenever there is an urgency. My family is so grateful to him. As for the receptionist, the clinic have different receptionists on duty so it will not be fair to criticize one if others are doing their job well. I shall rate it as average.

My 80 years old parents took an hour train and bus from White Rock this morning, came to this clinic, to register, as they were instructed (we called yesterday), they told us to call once they arrived, to be let in... my parents called and called, either line was busy or the receptionist was not answering the phone (my parents could see that she was ignoring the phone)... finally she came out, she was so rude and unprofessional, absolutely outrages, no seniors deserve this kind of treatment. It is shameful!

2021 November.Moved to new location near Richmond Hospital. Due to pandemic, consultation over the phone only. Call ahead for details (phone number no change).Nice and efficiency services.

believe at start of the opening hour the phone headset in their office might be misplaced? unable to reach call connected then busy signal whole time

Great first time experience! I needed a blood test requisition to check my vitamin D levels. Jenny at the front desk gladly helped me fill out a new customer form and sent me on my way. Soon after the doctor called me for the phone consultation. 5 minutes after the requisition form was ready for pick up from the front desk. Phenomenal and fast first time experience. Thank you

Dr. Chou is pretty good, but I'm not too sure about the others... The rooms are not the nicest though. Then there is Jenny, who is one of a few receptionists? She's very friendly and genuine, our family loves her :) As for the clinic itself, it's primarily for Chinese who can speak Mandarin or Cantonese.
