apniroots Indian Grocery Online Delivery

Usually I am always happy with this store. You may get nearly everything you need for your south Asian kitchen but this time I am not satisfied with my recent order . No reply for the calls or email so you have no clue how to contact them for any issues with your order . Also I asked for updated order bill as few items were not available. They sent me same again. It is not professional .

This is a good “online” store if you need to get your fix of India based items.They do call to confirm if any item in your order is not available and can be replaced by a similar one. That indicates some sync issue between their fulfillment system and ordering website.Their delivery system is also great and sends a tracking link an hour before it arrives.But if you are ordering with them, remember that their refund system is way out of order and you will have to do multiple follow-ups over multiple weeks just to get them to refund your money for returns or undelivered items. They don’t reply over their whatsapp number and as others have noted, the email id is only for sellers.

I had a worst experience. Their customer service is the worst. I tried to contact them(calls,emails)several times about missing items , they never respond me back. I wonder why they mention their contact info on their website if they’re not gonna respond back. Will never recommend to anyone.

Horrible customer service. What ever is written on their website that they accepts the return and exchanges, don't go by that. I ordered an item and they didn't have it. They sent me another item instead of that. It's been 10 days since I've emailed them twice, called them twice to inquire when can they take the return, to no response. The girl on the phone speaks as if she has no clue and won't even write down your order number. And now she's stopped taking my calls.

Worst services ever. I placed and order and it had missing items. I have followed back for refund and promised to get it by EOD, however, even after 3 weeks I have not recieved my money back. Cheaters!!! Money stealers

I hate leaving negative reviews online, but my experience with ApniRoots was truly so difficult that I can’t help it.On July 17, I ordered a number of groceries from their website. However, the next day they called me to tell me some groceries on my list were out of stock, and we agreed that they would refund me the designated amount (approx. $40)A month passed, and no refund was in sight. I called the number for customer care listed on their website. Nobody picked up, and it went straight to voicemail. This happened 3 days in a row before I sent them an email with all the details. I didn’t receive a response.A week later, I was still calling their customer care and nobody was answering. However, when I followed up on email, someone from their team wrote to say they will send me the groceries instead, as they are now in stock. The groceries were supposed to arrive by Aug 19, but of course never came.At this point, I was beyond frustrated. So much follow up and headache for $40 worth of groceries! But I was annoyed and refused to give up. I began leaving 1 voicemail and emailed once everyday. After 4-5 days of this, without contacting me, they scheduled my delivery for today. No email, no call, and of course I was not home when the delivery person came. Thankfully, he was able to leave the groceries at my doorstep!All of this to say that I will certainly not be ordering groceries from ApniRoots again. Nobody needs this hassle in their life, and I am genuinely surprised at this amount of negligence!To those of you still reading this review, have a nice day!

These guys do not pay to their employees.Cheap people , deserve zero star but still gave 1 star.You guys are top class cheap.

Poor customer service. I got my bag of Atta filled with worms and garlic was less than the quantity that I had ordered. It's been a month since I mailed them about it and I have called them up thrice. I still have not got a response for my emails. However, they say that they would refund the amount when I call them.Apniroots sells groceries without expiry dates and are cheating their customers without providing the refund.

They delivered me at wrong time and at wrong date and kept outside at late night. I clearly mentioned in my order to be delivered before 6pm. They did not notify me regarding this. All vegetables and fruits, coconut we spoiled. Not able to use any thing contacted them in email for several times and called them frequently but no one responded. Very worst service. No proper customer support.

Beware!Terrible website and extremely poor customer service. They do not update out of stock products. Once the online order goes through and you have paid for the items, they will call you to let you know that they have substituted the cheaper out of stock products with more expensive or smaller quantity replacements. If the item does not have a substitute, they will provide a refund. Once you receive the order, you realize that there are more items missing in the order than what you have been refunded for and good luck trying to chase them for the money. They do not respond to any calls or messages. I will not be a returning customer and would caution everybody about the abysmal service and appalling business practices. The frustration is not worth it
