So delicious!! Great atmosphere, and fantastic service! Highly recommend, and will definitely be back next time we are in town! The pickerel tacos were insanely delicious. The nacho platter was double layered, so the perfect balance of chips to toppings/cheese. The fish and chips were the perfect balance of fillet to side dish.Super glad we found this place!

When I first walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the dim lit decor and warm atmosphere. It felt like a nice family owned restaurant.I ordered the cheesy pickles and the pickerel and chips. The service was friendly and good, the food was tasty. The prices of the items were really good. It was deep fried, but deep fried properly because none of the food was sopping with grease, which made the meal more enjoyable. The spicy mayo for the pickles was perfect and the restaurant made tartar sauce for the walleye was good as well.I also recommend the Caesar for it is very good. Certainly one of the better ones I’ve tried.Overall, great place to go have a chill meal in a nice atmosphere. Enjoy!

We came to this place during the Victoria long weekend. It was lunch time and there was only one table before us. However, we waited for more than 1 hour to get our food. The waitresses were not kind enough and didn’t care much about us. They never mentioned that their kitchen was so small that we were going to wait for a long time until we had waited for 40 minutes and asked them when would our order be ready.I have to admit that the food was not bad, but the service was extremely disappointing. If your restaurant didn’t have enough capacity, you should let the customers know in advance rather than leave them aside, waiting for hours. Otherwise, it wasted time both for the customers and the restaurant itself.

The environment and the service was good. The Baked brie was unique and delicious, but the S&P platter was $42. It’s a little overpriced.

Loooved this place, the menu is short and sweet and to the point, the staff was friendly, the food came fast! My dad ordered the fish and chips, I ordered the poutine; which consisted of real homemade style fries, & squeaky cheese!!!! I can’t wait to come back on a night to enjoy some live music and beverages!

What a waste of time and money. The food tastes good. However, they keep apologizing for the delay in the service. That's because it takes 1 hour from your order to your first bite. Problem 2 is the service. Stop apologizing and clean the tables—what a sticky table. The third and final issue is the plate sizes. My 12 year old son had a fish sandwich. He loved it. But come on!!!! $16 for a 5 inch and half fish fillet. What a joke. There is a fast food a cross the street. Went to finish dinner because I did not want to wait another hour to be served. The presentation of the plates are fantastic. Impressive for such a small portion. We had a fish taco and the pickerel sandwich.

Absolutely horrible experience. It was during the Victoria long weekend, a group of 8 of us chose this restaurant because it has a nice vibe from the looks of it and also got pretty good reviews on Google. But everything went downhill from there. When we first walked it and asked for a table, we immediately got informed we cannot separate the bill for a group this big, inconvenient but reasonable since there were only 2 waitresses working that day. We sat down and ordered shortly after. Into 35-40 mins of waiting, our starved stomach obligated us to double check with the waitress what’s going on in the kitchen. We then got the response of that they’re sorry because they have a tiny kitchen and only 1 kitchen staff is cooking. Reminding you this was not brought up during the previous 35 mins we’ve waited, and it certainly was NOT mentioned when we sat for table unlike the ‘no split bill’ they made clear of. Another half an hour went by our food finally got served. Decent food tho pricey but no complaints on the taste wise fortunately. But when it came to the time of paying the bill, the waitress automatically inputted the price including 18% gratitude which is around 30 something bucks for the tips. We were absolutely not intended to tip that much with the service we’ve gotten. It was very likely done deliberately by the waitress because first time my card failed to go through. So she had to re-input the amount with that gratitude for me to do it the second time. Were pretty furious when noticing this during calculation for the split later on. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
