Long waiting time at the emergency is a common problem in Nova Scotia hospitals. Staffs are fine and accomodating but in general healthcare service needs improvement. I don't think its called emergency if you have to wait 4-6 hrs.

the staff and the volunteers are A-one.Given the workload and the capacity of people on any day, they run it as smoothly as possible.I was at the facility for 5 or 6 days in a row and I was and am impressed. The volunteers were attentive, making sure that all were given water etc..I know you can't please everyone but they are as close as you can get.Thank You for your work and your service.

Waited for hours and hours. Registration lady asked me to put up my mask as I was eating in the waiting room. There are multiple signs telling us not to eat but as you wait for hours, what are you supposed to do? Then the registration lady went back to her office and said loud enough for us to hear, There are eight signs posted!" I guess this was her passive aggressive way to tell us off for eating. (An older couple was eating too.) Then

I'm from out of province and the care here was amazing. The care I received from the moment I walked in the door was outstanding.Of course the wait time was long, but I wasn't a priority in terms of triage scores, so that was expected and I knew going in I would be waiting. But the nurses and Dr. on that night treated me with respect and patience. The front door staff were so nice and checked in on people and were helpful to answer any questions. For an emerg visit, I'm very impressed.

Hospitals can be tricky now.. under staffed and over worker is an under statement and it’s become very obvious. I am 11 weeks pregnant and went to 2 different hospitals as I began bleeding very heavily and pain brought on shortly after.. (Dartmouth general and QE11). I ended up here where I received answers and most importantly adequate care. The empathy that was shown by staff during this time of crisis was honestly humbling. Made me more emotional but in a good way. It was nice to see. After waiting 13 hours at QE11 and 9 hours at Dartmouth general.. waiting 2.5 hours to see a dr here seemed like nothing. Thank you to the staff and emergency drs that work hard but still remember what it’s like to be the one sitting in one of those beds or chairs.

I was preface by saying: I have visited the clinic once and the staff was phenomenal and helpful. This review is based off a single Doctor and NOT the clinic. The Doctor in question, the new Urologist Dr. Moore. Apparently, recently relocated from the U.S., this gentleman carries quite an amount of aggression in the chip on his shoulder. My experience was, thankfully, brief. I was referred to Dr. Moore by my family physician and from the initial meeting, it was challenging to deal with this individual. I was due to have a simple procedure performed (in and out in under 30 minutes is how it was described, easy enough..).I arrived to the clinic for my appointment time and immediately, disaster ensued as there was zero information entered into the system regarding my visit and procedure. *This information is to be provided by Dr. Moore or his office staff and is NOT the responsibility of the general clinic staff. So, while the staff frantically began gathering documents to fill out, Dr. Moore saw it fit to start calling my cell phone from the comfort of his office.Immediately this call became aggressive with Dr. Moore stating I was already late and if I weren't in his office immediately, the appointment would be cancelled or rescheduled. When I informed his that the delay was due to his error or oversight, he turned up the attitude. He became very unpleasant and asked Where are you? Where

The young blonde with glasses, who gives you your medical bracelet at the desk, was very stuck up and rude. Being kind in a medical setting would go along way and as well as maybe a smile. As for wait times you can to expect to be half dying and 8 hours later just to be out in another room to wait another 4 hours. Positives they’re a few really awesome physicians who work very hard .

With all the negativity our health system is receiving , I would like to shine some positivity. On the 18th Dec I showed up at the emerg with chest pain. Within 5-10 mins I saw the triage nurse who then sent me to be registered. Shortly after I was in on a stretcher with IV's in both arms, 3 sprays of nitro , blood work done and seen by Dr Peppard(emerg Dr). I arrived around 11am and transported to HI emerg by 3pm. I was very impressed by the staff and would like to pass along my thanks to all the staff.
