Detroit City Distillery

This place is GREAT, this is my second review and I can not say enough the atmosphere is Fantastic Burbon is to be enjoyed. They made me a great mixed drink that I requested. Try my mixture of Burbon, honey, ginger and lemon. A great refreshing drink. The mixologist which was our waitress was Fantastic. Just there again a couple weeks ago and had some great summer time drinks..... just went to the Bar to pickup my Honey Burbon and some great drinks with it in them. Wow I'm saving mine for those Special occasions.

Paczki vodka is good! I had a horseradish vodka Bloody Mary. Pretty good, very strong horseradish! No food. I was hoping for brunch. Paczki vodka is available at Meijer so I didn’t need to travel all the way to Detroit

Here again! Festive for the holidays. Love the Old Fashions!Ann and I happened into the Detroit City Distillery late this afternoon (12/23 and are immediate fans! The Detroit City Distillery has been here in the Eastern Market area of Detroit for 7 years. We are just discovering it today. We met a gentleman (who runs the Macomb Orchard trail and loves the Paint Creek trail for all the same reasons we do) at the Eastern Market Brewing company. We walked the half block down the street and found another go to spot".This distillery has a real comfortable feeling. You walk into what feels like a local bar. There is lots of comfortable seating. They serve a menu of cocktails

The Paczki Vodka day was a great day.The spirits were fabulous and you couldn't ask for better food with Srodek's food truck serving up kielbasa and pierogies...

A great spot for a unique and fun drink. Tenders were all great. Old bar that has been transplanted here is beautiful. Would love to know the history of it and the stories it knows from so many drinks served over it.

Fantastic liquor and mixed drinks!I somehow manage to only visit them when they're hosting a party — loud music, friendly crowds (seriously, everyone is happy to chat with you), food vendors, etc. Either they're always hopping or my usual bad luck (I prefer quiet venues) continues to plague me. Staff are always happy, friendly, and helpful. Carryout selection is excellent.There are some slightly confusing one-way streets in the area as well as some tightly-packed turns, ramps, and parking entrances, so check a satellite map and street view before visiting if you're unfamiliar with the area.

I was really impressed with the variety and flavor of the own distilled alcohol.I tried a vodka cocktail (trainwreck?) which was excellent!The bar tenders were really nice!I had an incredible time, next time I am in town I will definitely be here again.

Can’t say enough good things about this place and their drinks! Brandon is absolutely amazing at creating unique cocktails and delivering and individualized experience that is top notch!10/10 recommend….especially the old fashions. (We took a couple sips in the photos)

Have you really been to Eastern Market if you don't go to DCD? Sure, it's down an alley (currently set up for outdoor drinks with tables and cozy seating, dogs very welcome) but that's the best part of the place - you only find it if you're looking.

Had a blast for the paczki day's festival recommended by Bethany. Great vibe great drinks definitely will be back for more spirits.
