Dr. Christina King was absolutely amazing!. Very helpful and kind great with our dog. Very pleased. She had lots of information and explained our options, so it was easy to understand.

One of our dogs lost his sight due to cataracts following the development of diabetes. We were referred to Dr. King and right away realized we were with an extremely compassionate and empathetic person. We had many interactions with Dr. King (and her team) as she saw us through cataract surgery on one eye which was successful and evisceration with a prosthesis on the other. Eventually the eye with restored vision developed painful glaucoma and the eye with the prosthesis developed an ulcer so we ended up needing what we feared most: enucleation of both eyes. You can imagine the ups and downs of restored vision and then losing it all again. Throughout though, Dr. King was available, professional, informative, warm and compassionate. We honestly did not have one negative interaction with either Dr. King or her team members throughout our many, many appointments. It all ran like clockwork.We're about 4 or 5 months out from that now and our dog is pain free and doing extremely well and I can't thank Dr. King enough for all that she did for us. We will always have the highest regard for her.

We were SO nervous abt the potential cost of a specialist for our Abby girl. We found the clinic to be reasonably priced and did not push extra services. The Dr was genuinely Sincere in her kind mannerisms and body language toward our dog. It seemed to make her calm.Full disclosure:(Im completely against the idea of handing my girl off to the vet for the exam, especially as pandemic rules have long disappeared).That being said, when they did take her inside, I was extremely impressed by the staffs kindness, professionalism and courtesy to our concerns. At no point were we rushed or overlooked and our dog came back well taken care of.I'm thankful to have a diagnosis so quickly and grateful for an honest vet bill. I can see why they have such great reviews.We would highly recommend to anyone needing eye care for their animal.

Dr King is amazing! I really felt her genuine care for my dog, and she was not at all pushy for treatment. She fully respected my financial limitations while caring for my pet. Ask for estimates upfront as you are not informed what happens when they take your pet to the back room.

Dr. King and her team are absolutely FANTASTIC! Our dog was referred to her after we noticed something going on in her eye. It turned out it was very serious and she needed enuculation - from the moment we met Dr. King we felt comfortable in her decision and urgency of the issue. Within a week our dog had her eye removed, stitched up - they called the day after to ask about her, and then again to ensure her recovery went well! Our dog is well recovered and it is all thanks to this team - thank YOU xoxo

My sphynx cat Mimi loves coming here. She usually doesn't want to go back to her carrier to go home. DR. King is really really wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and beyond polite and nice. We feel that we are in good hands here

Dr King and her medical team totally surpassed all expectations! They are in it for the love of animals! My little guy had an eye emergency over the long weekend that left me helpless. I showed up without an appointment and Dr. King fit him in ASAP, gave me directions for preventative measures on the good eye and scheduled an operation the next day! Surgery went very well and he was discharged with clear and concise instructions. I absolutely recommend Western Canada Veterinary Eye Specialist! Don’t let that long name frighten you, they are very very reasonable! They are in it for the love of animals, and for a fraction of the fees compared to many other places! I am not good with words and I hope my review can do them justice!

I was referred to this place for my cat's eye issue. The doctors were very helpful, kind and definitely know what they're doing. They called me to let me know there was an earlier opening for a consult which was very kind of them, allowing my cat to get surgery a month or so earlier than expected. My cat is in recovery at the moment but is doing well. He is finally able to open his left eye without squinting!They were quick to answer all my questions via phone and email before and after surgery and gave me a lot of useful tips too!

We had to take our senior lab to this clinic recently as he suddenly developed an eye issue. We got an appointment very quickly and saw Dr. Burn. She was patient, kind, and caring and explained the nature of the problem clearly. She also answered all of our questions and told us that discharge instructions would be e-mailed to us. The veterinary assistant was also great and her manner reassured us that the clinic would take good care of our dog during the visit - we were anxious because pet owners have to stay outside. The receptionist was also pleasant and efficient. The fee for the visit was very reasonable and in our opinion, worth every cent. Please keep up the good work. Thank you.
