Great place to visit with children! We spent a little over an hour. The museum section has a lot of historical information and is very interactive. They have clean restrooms and a fountain to refill your water bottle. Staff is supper attentive and make you feel welcomed!

History before your very eyes and what is interesting is the guns point south to a time when our star spangled friends were no so friendly.

Very interesting and educational. Well preserved historical fort with pleinty of space for kids to run around and explore. Staff are friendly and helpful but I only hope park Canada would employ more staff who are fluent in English. I know it's Quebec and all but Park Canada is a Federal institution and service should be bilingual.

I was very disappointed that this place was closed during my visit as it looks much nicer and much more authentic then the fort in Quebec City, which has been commandeered by the military. They should open it to the public, at the very least on weekends starting late May to accommodate tourists coming from the States, who have different vacation schedules. It's very disappointing that the only other attraction in Levis that's worth visiting, aside from the Dejardins House, is only open for a few weeks in the summer. I don't understand why school groups should prevent others from visiting the fort.

Fort was closed to public when we visited. I was just doing some comparison recon to fulfill my curiosity with similar structures from elsewhere. It is not a fort, might've been repurposed as one, but originally it was a hydro-electric device...we'll save that for another time...

Nice place to spend an hour (the guided tour was particularly useful). This is one of three forts (the only one still standing) in Lévis, which were built to protect Quebec from a possible US invasion during the civil war (not that the US would ever invade another country, of course).

We had a stop after a long drive from fortress of Louisbourg ( Cape Breton). It is a great place to know more about history. Great exhibition with quiet good explanations. The Staff were very welcoming, nice and helpful. The guided tour was knowledgeable. There are few picnics tables. It’s recommended to visit it.

Was an amazing fort and experience!! My family and I did a self-guided tour and it was lovely. The museum had a lot of interesting stuff and I learnt a lot. The views outside the fort were also amazing. Would recommend as it's a quick but nice visit!

Neat place to visit if you’re an history buff. Lots happened in that area in the early days of Canada. Fascinant how much they had to do to protect England’s interests against the newly established American colonies.

This was one of the better Parks Canada sites we've been to.For starters, we found parking easily and entered the grounds with ease.I found there was tons of information on not only the site, but the people, its purpose and relevance to Canada.Unlike many of the other Parks Canada sites we visited, this one had staff that knew how to engage, and knew about the place they worked(Most of the staff seem to be kids with 0 knowledge). There was lots to see here so give yourself a couple of hours.
