Snider Mountain Ranch

I had a great time the food was great and the horses are well controlled i went three years in a row and im going for a fourth.

Phenomenal place and staff.Friday Saturday & Sunday of Équine Therapy coordinated by Soldier On.Extremely knowledgeable instructional staff, Chef and her staff served delicious plentiful meals and accommodated all the dietary restrictions for the certain people requiring them. Beautiful Ranch. Amazing to connect with a horse. Everyone should try it.

Amazing staff and quality food! I love attending camp here. Some other reviews are really misleading. I attended the cattle sorting camp and it was the best time of my life! Best camp out of the 3 years I’ve been.

I went to Snider Mountain with my school for our end of the year trip and it was awful. Snider mountain said we had too split up our buses into female and male buses. It separated us from our friends and our community. When we got to Snider they said that we couldn’t go into the opposite genders cabins to hang out. Snider assumed that we would do inappropriate actions with the opposite genders. When we arrived they immediately split us into our activity groups, the entire time we were there we had to eat with our activity groups and we were not permitted to eat with our friends for any meals. While we were there, a staff body shamed us because we were wearing tight fitting clothes. The same staff member yelled at us because we weren’t speaking French while we were talking quietly with our cabins. The food was okay but we ate three big meals each day and in between those hours we were starving and we ate dinner fairly early so after wards we got very hungry because we couldn’t eat anything else until the following morning. The horse ranch/aspect was very exciting but other activities weren’t spectacular. In my opinion the camp was not fun, fair or in any way educational. I would not recommend Snider mountain. Most staff are rude and treats us in an unfair way.

Snider mountain ranch is a great place for kids and adults alike. They host great summer camps as well as day camps and family activities year round. I live just across the road now and love to see all yhe folks that come to visit and all the fun everyone seems to have. I grew up attending this camp and will recommend it to anyone I know!

The staff are very friendly, the food was delicious, the trails are beautiful, and we enjoyed every moment of our experience.

Our daughter has gone to Camp there twice, once for saddle camp and once for beginner Horsemanship, and found both weeks fantastic! The counselors/ staff were very caring and fun, the place is very clean, there are an incredible amount of things for the campers to do and the grounds are beautiful.

I cannot say enough about the Ranch. The lasting impression the staff, activities, and friends had my son talking about the trip for days. It was his Grade 5 graduation trip. 3 day 2 night trip cannot be put into words. Thank you Snider Mountain staff!

We were here a year ago with a large group of international students, and they had an AMAZING time. The food was fantastic the staff were so kind and had a lot of fun with us at our international dance party. The activities were well planned and executed, and the students still send me photos from their home countries sharing the fond memories of this camp. Can't wait to do it again!!!
