Received a call on behalf of canaseed assets" when I asked what type of company this is they asked me to confirm my information on file - I refused and again asked what this was in relation to and they stated "since you won't verify we'll just call back tomorrow" and they hung upWould rate 0 if I could"

I just received the most bizarre call of my life. Person tried to collect personal and confidential information refusing to provide any information for what reason. It’s a scam. Beware

Google this number ... After reading this, i realized it was fraudulent...Called and asked for a bunch of people that dont live at my phone number. Not sure if the names were made up or tesging the waters. But i will block this number.

They call leaving a message saying that I am tied into a file number but they don't specify what the file is about therefore I will just block the number

Don't know forsure they are scammers, but it's supposed to be a security guard company... And they called me asking for personal/confidential info claiming to be affiliated with TD Bank which makes no sense, they also refused to give me any information on their purpose and just over and over again tried to get my information from me (full name, date of birth, social security, bank info, etc), for the record no that is not normal and they are absolutely allowed to tell you why they are calling before you give them the information, they just can't say any specifics, so they could/should be able to tell you they are calling for missed payments, over do debt, etc etc, just not any specifics, it's also very very very improbable your bank would have not told you they would be calling beforehand and your bank will never outsource to other companies, your bank will always call you themselves. I obviously refused to give any information, they then told me to call TD and just gave me the basic TD number anyone can find on Google, not a specific person, not a specific department, nothing. The person I spoke to at TD told me they had no idea who they were, did not send them, and that they were likely a scam and to ignore them. I am now looking for more information on them, I am thinking of getting my lawyer and RCMP officer friend to go to their office and ask them our own questions. I would like some more concrete evidence of foul play/fraudulent activity first though, so if anyone has any information or an experience that is relevant post it here or find a way to contact me. If I get any reliable evidence of fraudulent activity I am going to get legal authorities involved and go deal with them ourselves.I'd also just like to say I don't mean to imply I do not believe the people claiming scams here, I also believe it to be the case but I need more reliable/provable evidence of it to actually be able to go do something about it. Given that information though I will see to it that these guys are not able to harass or scam anyone again and that they will face consequences for anything they might have done. Again I have no hard evidence that these people are scammers, just that everything I have read, seen, and personally experienced heavily implies it. Thanks for your time.

This company must buy very very old debts. Debts no longer legally owed. They claim you still owe and they inflate the amount. SCAM!

They called to ask personnal information on an employee and hunged up on me when I was explaining I couldn't help them. I never received such an unprofessional call. I even called back to leave a complaint but was only able to reach voicemail. How convenient. Good luck getting anywhere with such an attitude.
