Collingwood Chimney Sweeps

I requested a chimney to be Swept by dan Collingwood. On arrival I was told the reason that the chimney would not take the smoke away was due to it being a 9 inch flue in the main chimney and the log burner was only 6 inch flue. Dan said he wouldn't sweep it as it would be pointless due to the size of the flues. He charged the full amount of £75 and left after 15 minutes without doing anything. I have since had my chimney inspected and have sent Dan pictures of a full choked up flue. The chimney was in need of sweeping and now is working like it should. I have asked Dan if he would consider giving a refund but i have been ignored after sending a text and email.Please make up your mind if you want to use this man. I certainly will not use Dan Collingwood again or recommend him to anyone.

Highly recommend Dan. I used to dread having chimney swept because of the potential mess. None of that with Dan. Everything left spotless as usual in spite of having to remove a large old nest. Thank you.

Dan gave us great service from start to finish. Consulted on and rectified our leaning chimney stack, advised on and installed our wood burner - did a great job on both. He's our first call when we need a sweep and know he'd be round quickly if we did have any problems.

Dan was very helpful and professional from the very first contact. Nothing was too much trouble. He worked efficiently to clear and clean our chimney and left the house very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend Dan.
