Northern Log & Timber

Don’t expect anything other than empty promises from John. He literally left me hanging for 3 months. I spent the whole summer waiting on promised lumber for my deck. He says tomorrow, then 4 days later he says Wednesday, then on Monday he says he’s out of logs, or his hydraulics need repairs. Then replies 3 weeks later out of the blue says that he’s found material for your lumber, then ghosts you again for a week. Late October and I’m scrambling to make my deck safe for the winter after being forced to go a different route with the build. One of the worst experiences I’ve had in the Okanagan.Seems like a super nice guy, but don’t trust anything he says.

Hi, had a pretty bad experience with John on my last job,mainly in regards to not responding to texts and phone calls and dragging out delivery dates without informing me.It caused a lot of stress and delays in the project and finally I had to pull the plug and go somewhere else..just a very unprofessional attitude. On top of that he delivered 6by6 posts which where basically sapwood half the length, so stained it looked really blotchy. We agreed that he would replace them, which never happened..in my experience his word is not worth much and I won't deal with him again.
