I absolutely LOVE this hidden gem!The food is incredible with very reasonable pricing, the staff are all very friendly and the drinks are like none other.The restaurant itself is beautiful with lots of love and thought to detail put into the decor.I will definitely be back many more times and will be recommending you to all of my people.

Our server Dixie was so sweet!! Food was really good and the music gave off good vibes only! The Smokey sage drink was soooo good and such an original idea for a cocktail!

I was disappointed with the mac and cheese with jerk chicken, it tasted more like a South spicy BBQ sauce then an authentic Caribbean flavor. The shrimps were not fresh and chewy with all the spices they added it tasted wrong. The salt fish was good, however easy dish to make. The service was kind and helpful.Good luck with the concept.

Tonight I feasted on takeout from Bess Restaurant. @bessrestaurantI was adventuresome and tried their signature dish, recommended by the ever so helpful Stephan.Main: Braised Oxtail served with rice, peas & steamed veggies.Side: Pressed, salted plantainsThe oxtail was very tender, sliding easily off the bone. The veggies and rice were tasty. The plantains were nicely crunchy. I have to say, I’m a gal with a healthy appetite, and there was more than enough food for me. Also, i like my hot food hot (heated), and it was. On a spiciness scale, I would say it’s mild. They have a great cocktail list, and jerk dishes, which I’ll try once I visit the restaurant. They open next week, so if you’re in the mood for Caribbean food in an intimate & casual environment, check them out!

Flavorful, but very spicy for my own taste. It’s Caribbean food so you have to expect a certain level of heat. I had the pork belly, it’s a very big portion. My daughter had the mac and cheese with pork and it’s was excellent.

It was my first time here this weekend, and I know that I will be back! This place has absolutely delicious, high-quality food, for amazing prices. Easily the best value in the entire city. Their cocktail menu? So much variety. There is something for everyone at this restaurant. The servers were so friendly, and the service was very fast.

Great quality and good people! It's not Caribbean home cooking. It's an original menu, created by Caribbean people. I've been twice and had a great experience both times. My only complaint is that the roti skins are basically tortillas. Everything else tastes hand made and flavourful.

I heard so many good things about the Jerk Chicken Mac and Cheese, so I decided to order it for take out and it did NOT disappoint. Generous portion size and absolutely delicious! The manager was very friendly and the tropical decor also provides a really cool atmosphere. Will definitely be going back!

Been a while since you seen the fellas, grab a drink, get some food, dj playing great music, staff just know how to treat you. You look in the corner and there's another group laughing it up, in another area a couple are having a date. But the main thing is, the vibe. The vibe is just so inviting, cool. You feel welcome. The food is bomb, the chef has some creative combos. Gotta love it. And that's just it. It's the place to vibe out. It's the spot to chill. Regardless of why you're out, it's a great place to be. Definitely coming back.

Nice food. We ordered the jerk chicken (half chicken) and jerk pork belly, it did not disappoint. The rice and peas complimented it well. The had dragon stout and red stripe. Good value, great service, music was shot.
