Had a perfect old fashioned... Literally, that's the name in the menu! And it WAS perfect. It replaced a 15 year old number one from a quest for the best old fashioned. It's that good!Oh. And the cheese and charcuterie was pretty good too!!

I attended a wine and cheese pairing workshop with friends. It was fabulous! What a well organized, interesting and delicious event. An excellent variety of cheese and wines. Very enjoyable!

A welcome addition to the Victoria dining scene. I recently dined there with my partner and it was a lovely experience. We went for their 3-5pm dining menu which was excellent. The pairings were expertly done and we will definitely be returning to try the full menu.

Saw L'Apéro had 4.7 out of 5 star rating and decided to try it out for the dine around menu of $55. Arrived on time for the reservation to a half full restaurant with a table unprepared. After being seated it took 20 minutes for any server to acknowledge we had been seated or to bring water. Requested nut allergy on all orders and the appetizer still came with nuts. Ordered the Raclette for the main, which consisted of nothing made in house. All items were store bought and could have easily made this at home for 1/10th the price. With the amount of cheese provided, about half of the board items you eat without cheese. To finish they were out of the dessert. Overall disappointing meal and disappointing service.

This is what Was missing in Victoria. I moved 17 years ago from Switzerland to this beautiful island, and since then I have been missing a real tasty raclette. The raclette was amazing , served the way it should be, with its charcuterie, petites patates, cornichons, oignons, and of course the cheese a raclette. Service was equality great. They have a small selection of delicious dishes, just what you need with a great selection of wines from Europe and North America. The crène brûler, just fantastic, made with my favourite tea, “The Philosopher” . From the first bite you can taste the flavours of this delicious tea. Chef Andrea definitely knows what he is doing.If you haven’t been there yet , I strongly recommend you to visit, you will not be disappointed. I felt right at home.Thank you for bringing a taste of Europe to this beautiful island.

Visited during Dine Around Town with my husband and friends where we had Ludivine as our server. What an amazing experience!We all had the Raclette and it was absolutely incredible. The amount of food you get for the price (especially these days) was fantastic, the atmosphere is adorable (especially upstairs) and the service was the best we've experienced since moving to Victoria in 2021! Ludivine was funny, charming and completely attentive inspite of things being busy and him having to climb stairs balancing glasses, cheese, and boards precariously! A complete legend.This is one of the few gems we've found where we felt the price, quality of food and customer service were more than worth it. 10/10 if I could give that many stars! Absolutely coming back hopefully for one of their cheese tasting educational events!

I popped in on my lunch break and picked up the cutest little 1 person cheese board. With figs and candied nuts, dehydrated strawberries and a generous portion of meat and cheese. It’s now my favourite little lunch spot. Great friendly service! Highly recommend.
