Amazing little shop in the heart of LaSalle. Anita and her team make the most delectable treats! I highly recommend her products as a sweet gift, or just a treat for yourself and the family! She switches things up constantly and has awesome ideas for the holidays! Yum yum!

We stopped here at the end of our bike ride and grabbed some little chocolate dough balls, and a brookie. Everything in the bakery looked amazing! Great place if you want to treat others (or yourself)!

some of the best brownies/squares iv ever had.... i think about how good they are every day! my husband loves how their cakes dont have overly sweet icing, i got a cake from them from an app at a lower rate and im so happy ifound this place !

The cakes are NOT worth the money. I ordered a pre set flavour from their website (6” Funfetti) and it was $70 for a cake that was 70% icing. The icing was so thick and tasted like gelatin, we ended up throwing out half the cake. Even when we picked around the icing to eat the actual cake, it’s taste was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth $70 and I will never be purchasing a cake from here again. You’re better off to go to the grocery store and buy a cake from there, it’s cheaper and taste better.

My daughter picked up some Brookies from this bakery. If you'd asked me before yesterday, I would have told you I'm not a Brookie fan but these were deliciously PERFECT. The brownie base was rich, decadent and fudgy and the chocolate chip cookie top was soft and beautifully balanced with the brownie. I have had nothing else from this bakery as of yet but can tell you, 100% worth it just for this one item. The Brookies were nicely sized for approximately $3.50 each. Wonderful treat.

Lived in LaSalle years ago and happened upon The Sugared Spatula last Saturday while visiting family. Unbelievable!! Bought cookies, tarts and date squares and the cookies and tarts were great but if your a date square person like me you have to stop there. My only complaint is I didn’t buy more.

I was happy to see a new bakery open up in LaSalle. Everything looked so good that I couldn't decide what to buy, so I got a bit of everything. This box cost me about $30. My coworkers all said that all the treats were super yummy. The owner was very friendly too. I will definitely be back!

We bought cheesecakes, cookies, and fudge bars. All of the treats were delicious! The cheesecakes werea big hit and my daughter especially loved the cookies. Everything was freshly made and tasted home made. Will come back again.
