Great park ☀️

The park its self is not bad, but its definitely lacking in a lot if simple things, as well some much needed things.First the good: there is a large grass area for activities, the two play centers are decent for different age groups of kids, there are two large rest areas with large rocks for seating, two sets of swings one for older kids and one for infants with bucket seats and lastly two large posts that folks can bring their own bets for volleyball or badminton.The bad: for all that space in the park its poorly utilized, for example with how large the community is, the park could definitely have larger play structures, the swing set could definitely use a large style swing for special needs kids, on top of that they need some really good tlc, they're missing play pieces, missing a step (safety issue), some parts are not working like they used to, the ground needs to be changed to either the rubber style floor or something else, as the wood chips are not topped enough to provide safety for falls or anything, its just a mud put when it rains, as well there is sooo much grass area, some of it could be easily converted to say a wading pool, or splash pad, you could also add in a medium size gazebo for picknick area, or at least bring a few more tables so people could sit.Final thoughts, the park is not terrible, ive seen much worse in my years, and has a lot of potential, just needs some attention along with some good tlc.Edit: May 2023, this park seriously needs some TLC. Between the amenities getting broken and scribbled on, its coming apart on top of the places that it needed initial repair and tlc.

Great playground for kids, a big field out in front, and a trail in the back that takes you through the wetlands.

Great park that keeps the kids entertained for hours. Great walking trails around and large grass area to play soccer with the kids.
