We were Californians interested in buying a home in Toronto with some very specific and non-negotiable conditions that limited our options. Jennifer and her partner Chris Lumb began working with us weeks in advance of our planned trip to view available real estate and listened closely to our needs. Instead of flooding us with unacceptable listings, they very quickly narrowed down their recommendations to those homes that would work for us.Both Jennifer and Chris responded promptly whenever we provided feedback or wanted more information about the market. Never having visited Toronto, we had no idea where we should be looking or what would be appropriate in terms of pricing. The information they provided was relevant and useful and we quickly grew to trust their judgement. The end result was that we identified a property two days before our trip and placed an offer before we even got on the plane.Once we saw the place in person, we realized how well suited it was to our particular situation and how lucky we had been to have Jennifer and Chris working on our behalf. After we met Jennifer in person and after signing some documents, she started doing apartment/house research according to our preferences, sending different solutions on a daily basis. She was able to provide us any important detail about different Toronto areas, price of different units sold previously and things to be aware of (like kitec plumbing, etc). She was really friendly and professional at the same time, never being too invasive or pushing to make offers. We really appreciated her effort to answer any question or finding additional info, even at midnight or during the weekend, and the ability to negotiate with the seller's agents, even when on the other side of the phone there were rude and unexperienced people.
