Very nice place! We felt welcomed and taken care of. They have a $9 breakfast from 9 am to 10 am on weekends (if I’m not mistaken), and it’s a great deal! You get 3 eggs with sausage, bacon, potatoes and toast. You can choose how you like your eggs as well. Everything was cooked to perfection. We also tried their tiramisu, and it’s one of the best in the city. Even Italian restaurants don’t get it right every time, but this tiramisu tastes authentic, with coffee dipped lady fingers, and soft, not too sweet, cream. Very satisfied with the experience, and will be back ♥️

Very great patio with a great view of the CN tower depending on where you sit. We went early on a sunny day and were able to seat ourselves anywhere and have a great and easy service - really liked that they didn't rush us to order or close out our tab and the recommendations were strong (get the red sangria pitcher!)Inside has an old armchair theorist feel to it with book shelves, high back chairs and beautiful non traditional seating which I definitely enjoyed and would visit again - unfortunately it had a real strong odor? On the inside when we visited. Luckily for us we spent our visit on the patio and only came in for the washroom but I can't imagine what sitting and eating surrounded by that smell would be lmao would definitely give it another chance and consider the inside

After our third time to Fox on John since moving into this neighborhood, this has become one of my favorite bars to visit. Good service and delicious and fresh food everytime. Their eggs for brunch easily beat any fancy brunch places in taste. We had their 2lb chicken wings on Monday and they were half off and great to taste. Other than the music inside which can get a little too loud, it's a great spot to eat, drink and enjoy!

Very cosy restaurant, big chairs, a library area. The atmosphere was amazing. Service was top notch, very attentive. I ordered the vegetarian shepherds pie and the server raved about it. She was absolutely right. Mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious and the pie itself was seasoned perfectly. The bacon cheeseburger looked wonderful. The server refilled our soft drinks a few times. Very good experience.

I came with a group of friends to get brunch and we got seated immediately. Sam got us our drinks and food orders quickly and everything tasted amazing. Definitely a great spot to get food with your friends!

The name of the game is consistency. The Fox on John has it and doesn't, kind of confusing. The drinks are awesome, as are the appetizers, entrees and desserts, but the menu changes with the seasons. This can be a great when you go back and order the same items. In my case:Appetizer - Salmon Cake / Smoked Salmon SaladMain - Stuffed chicken with truffled mash potatoes / Porcini Mushroom PastaDessert - TiramisuThe Smoked Salmon Salad, Stuffed chicken and mushroom pasta still remain, as well as the Tiramisu, but unfortunately the Salmon Cake is gone. If you have a favorite menu item they are great at meeting the same standards each time you visit, however if you like a certain cocktail, or perhaps an app/entree, there is a chance with the next seasonal menu change it will be gone.

Loved our experience at Fox on John. We were sitting outside and the weather was excellent. We had an excellent server too, Demi!Demi informed us about the Happy hours and we made the most out of it. She kept a check if we needed anything.Would definitely recommend Fox to others too!

Extremely tasty brunch! Went for the early bird deal from 9-10AM where the Big Fox meal is only $9. Good and friendly service. Tater tots were so crunchy and delicious. Great ambiance inside too. Would come back again!

Came here for brunch for my friends birthday & was seated right away. Sabrina was such a great server and friendly & super nice and pretty. The food was really yummy! Will come here again!
